My Strata Council uses Bayview to manage our property. Recently I had a leak at my unit that started after the gutters were changed/updated and a rain storm hit, revealing a hole in the torch roof beside where the leak was coming into the house. Shelley was incredibly unprofessional- I'd go as far to say she is a bully who thinks yelling at people and then ignoring them will make them go away. Shelley locked me out of attending a meeting I asked to specifically attend on numerous occasions over a 6 week span, all in writing, and then played the, "I didn't know you wanted to attend" card. Because of her incompetence in hiring a handyman instead of a professional roofer like the gutter company recommended after adding more piping to the problem area, my leak continued to be a problem for 45 days causing more damage to my unit inside. Despite her inaction causing more damage, she is now trying to make me pay for it! I requested to deal with someone else, and the management company REFUSES to accommodate my request despite me proving Shelley withheld legal documents from me for over 6 weeks, and refused to provide information for me to attend my council meeting and address my issues with them. I will be working very hard to encourage my council to get rid of this management company, as I do not believe they are the right fit to protect anyones valuable assets, and they have the worst customer service and staff. Terry (the CEO) had zero ownership or things to say about why I was locked out of this meeting, despite my proof showing my several requests, or why I had these documents withheld for so long. He actually got Shelley to send out the reply to my formal complaint on "his behalf". Could he not be bothered? Many of the things gone wrong here are laid out in the Strata Property Act, and Terry did not seem to care that his staff treats owners in this manner. Very much so do NOT recommend Bayview to anyone.
