Actually had an awful experience with SHAW. We had recently sold our home and its been nearly 3 months and we've had minimal communication from our realtor throughout the process. Also, the realtor who was representing us came to our home looking a little unprofessional with a black eye. That being said, we are not currently using the sales rep. as our home buyer rep. due to lack of experience and consideration for their clients well being. We have had people walk in to our home while I have been sleeping and try to force me out of my home so they can do a viewing. I honestly don't know where you find these people, but they need to get educated. One of us is currently on sick leave and leaving the home takes a lot of planning. We will never use SHAW ever again after this experience. The sales rep was inconsiderate, covetous, and disingenuous when it came to the home sellers comfort with the timelines. It was an unfortunate experience and we would NOT recommend Shaw Realty based out of Cambridge.

Harassing and pushy phone calls and sales tactics. I had to register my phone number and email to view a property they had listed. I got a phone call later from them and I advised that I wasn't interested after looking at it on line. Over the next few months I constantly got phone calls asking me about my interests in locating a house. I had bought a property elsewhere and advised them that I wasn't interested and to please stop contacting me. Each time I advised them they stated that they would remove me from the list and not call me again. Sure enough, a few weeks later I would get another call. The last woman I spoke to seemed annoyed that I was getting annoyed and asked me "doesn't these phone calls show how good we are at marketing our homes?" I explained to her that it was just the opposite, that it was unwanted communication and contact and a form of harassment and unwanted phone calls and that I would never consider doing business with them. I advised her I would be leaving this review. This is absolutely ridiculous that they won't leave me alone with their pushy sales tactics and the fact that you need to give them your email and phone number to check out one of their properties in the first place. That should have been the red flag there. I wish I could give them no stars. I guess they are hurting for business / customers.

This company is violating the " do not call list" by phoning and asking if you want to see a property for sale. This is a violation of RECO rules, and the do not call legislation. If they cannot follow the Reco code of ethics, would you really trust them with your business?

I have asked them every time to remove me from their calling list as I am on the Do Not Call list, which they apparently don't follow. The last lady I spoke with said she is just trying to help me. How harassing me is helping me I am not sure. The people at Shaw Realty are unprofessional and rude. I would never recommend this company or use this company.

Short story: realtor was more interested in making a sale then making me happy. Due to an oversight I believe to be the realtors fault (read below), I'm now forced to sell my house with large unknown renovation expense I must cover. Long story: I received a cold call from them after visiting their website wasn't serious about buying just wanted to see what the market was like. Signed their contract to get access to MLS. Shaw then sent a staging consultant, Susan Oldford from Interiors Wow Home Staging & Interior Design (5 out of 5 stars for her) to make renovation suggestions to increase our property value. After her visit I relayed her suggestions to my realtor who replied "nice! thats good to hear that the staging went well. lmao!! basement would be a lot of work yes. do you think it would be worth it to finish the basement?" this translates to dont worry about getting the most for your house just sell I want the commission now... (red flag). However, we decided to wait it out due to the contract signed. After sitting down and setting a budget and area with our realtor, we frequently received suggestions outside of our boundaries and budget. By chance, my wife and I fell in love with a house that was for sale by owner and our realtor kindly waved his commission since he never helped us find the property. We now had to sell our property with our relator due to the agreement. We quickly completed the suggested renovations knowing Shaw was sending a photographer in 1 week. Who did an excellent job. All went well until the day before we were accepting offers a buyer's agent brought to my attention that there was an open permit on the property. Conclusion was we need to sell because we are already committed to an offer and we need to fix at any expense to us this permit issue... to me this should have been checked by our realtor from the start. When confronted he refused to apologize or sympathize only saying better now then at the title search. I do not reccomend them.

Sold my house last year. Adnan Khan was my agent, he provided first-class service from start to finish. Adnan was professional, communicated with me when needed, walked me through the process. Trying to renew our mortgage with their mortgage lady was ridiculous. My wife and I decided to go with a variable rate mortgage and the broker said we would get emails from her when rates were changing. Our mortgage has increased twice since we renewed in July and we have not received a single email warning us that the rates were changing. We won't be back in 5 years.
