My husband and I had an utterly horrible experience a few years ago. We went to Thomas to help us purchase our first home. Because we were young, we were treated like incompetent idiots. Thomas insisted that we offer asking price on a foreclosure, and when we refused repeatedly, he said he would not put in an offer for less than asking. We were told we were stupid and to just shut up and listen to the professional. While we respected that he was a professional, he refused to respect our opinion. We were bullied and borderline verbally abused. We eventually stood up and walked out, refusing to continue being treated in such a disgusting manner. I still cannot believe the way he spoke to us, and I hope to save anyone else from such a horrible experience! Oh, and we eventually got the house through another realtor for $30,000 below asking.

Keeper is a pure con artist. Promises the moon but delivers sand. Other agents won't show his listings as he undercuts their share. He has questionable business tactics. If selling your home, I suggest you stay away from him and his naive team.

I have very mixed reviews for this particular real estate company. I was able to find my home after months of searching. My agent was very knowledgeable and would send me listings with my particular interests on a regular basis however, a few times that I would want to show properties to other people for a second opinion, if she was busy, there would be no one else that could show me in her place. She was pretty patient considering I did look at quite a few places so I appreciated that part. However, once I purchased the place I choose, she disappeared- no congratulations, no "nice working with you", nothing. Pretty much she saw the place with me, put the offer in with me and that was it. I even reached out and thanked her for her assistance and still heard nothing. Just seemed like as soon as she got her paycheque, I didn't hear from her again. Anyways, I'm happy with my purchase but thought the follow up was pretty weak.

Thomas did a fantastic job helping us locate a home in SW Calgary. He was patient and responsive and took us to look at many homes until we found the perfect match. One thing which stood out was his knowledge of the market along with his attention to detail. Once we found the home we loved, Thomas negotiated with the seller and was able to get us our home for $15,000 under the asking price. I highly recommend using Thomas and would happily go through the process with him again.
