We had the opportunity to work with Sarah Walczak when we were looking for our first home. She was very, very nice and we feel so lucky to have her by our side on this journey. It’s our first time so we really don’t have much knowledge about real estate. We don’t even know any good mortgage lenders and inspector. But she made the process very smooth and easy for us. She gave us very good recommendations. One thing that I like about her is that she’s not pushy so it never felt stressful looking for houses. Some realtors may want to show you a lot of houses each day and it would make you feel so overwhelmed. It’s not like that with her which takes away the pressure. She’s also very responsive to all my texts and e-mails. We’ve seen quite a few houses during our home search but I never heard her complain. I tell you, I am not a very easy person to work with coz I have a certain standard with things but I definitely like her and how our process went smoothly until turn over. She still remembers us eventhough the home buying is done already. She is very sweet. She treats you more of a friend than just you’re realtor. She gives very good advice on the property that we are viewing and because of that we are so happy that we landed on our home now. We definitely got a gem! Thanks to her. Our property has the “location, location, location” factor and we got it because of her help. She’ll not let you down I promise. She’ll make sure that you will be very happy with your choice... definitely NO buyer’s remorse later! It’s been 3 years and we are still so in love with our house and even loving it more with all the progress that’s happening around the neighborhood. I could still remember the day we entered the door of our house and it definitely felt right. And it’s true...we are so very happy! I know home buying is kind of scary specially for first time homebuyers like us. But the key is to just find a good realtor and everything will definitely fall into place. Jen Johnson was our realtor's partner when we first moved to Calgary in 2011. She was really helpful during our possession process, which was my first time dealing directly with her and we dealt with her afterwards as our realtor had moved. When my ex and I split up, she was very helpful in providing house assessment info so we could divide assets, and I always appreciated her help and responsiveness. I contacted her again when I was looking for a house in 2018, though I ended up not being able to buy at the time. In 2020, when I was able to buy a house, Jen got me going straight away and took me to see things promptly (and ensured COVID safety). She was very honest about issues with the potential houses or ways they might not meet our needs, so I was comfortable that she was looking out for my interests. With the one I liked, she helped me with an offer that I was happy with, and was really good with conditions. We dealt primarily with Sarah (and a little bit with Chris) for the purchase of our new home, and the sale of our previous house. From start to finish, every detail was managed flawlessly, with good information, advice, referrals for inspections, lawyers, mortgage brokers, and more. They have all the tools at their disposal to market your for-sale property and have a strong understanding of the e-commerce side of the real estate industry that is so important today. Sarah was fantastic to work with from start to finish, she was patient, friendly, and hardworking. She was always available and never pushy.
