Credit where credit is due. I have to be honest, I don’t think to highly of the realtor game as a whole. I feel like most of them in the industry take for granted how the system works and take advantage of technology and let that do the work for them. You just can’t take that personal touch out of this line of work. You need someone working for you and being diligent and making you feel like you’re being looked after. Not let some automated emailing system pass off a couple of properties here and there (this system isn’t perfect). Steve, although in the ideal perfect situation, was found to be the listing agent and our agent. We saw a house we liked, we were privately viewing at the time (had gone through a couple realtors at this point), and had the actual joy of dealing with Steve through the process. I say joy, because it’s easy to get a feel for someone who might seem like the rest, but we could tell with Steve this fortunately wasn’t the case. Albeit I feel like I may have come across a bit on edge as our previous experience with other realtors left much to be desired, Steve passionately saw past that and remained courteous, understanding and professional. No detail was overlooked, he stayed on top of the things that were promised to be completed with the house deal and saw to it that that’s what happened. We were the squeaky wheel, he was the wd-40. That’s what we really liked about Steve. You say or ask something, regardless if he knows the outcome or has a different opinion, he willfully responds respectfully. We just had our last visit with him after taking possession of the house, dropped off a very thoughtful care package and spent about an hour just chatting about life. Cheers Steve!
