The market is so competitive and fast paced these days, you need to make sure you have an experienced professional working with you to even stand a chance. So glad I went with Kevin at the condo group, he has 10 years plus experience with Victoria condo market, whereas other realtors may only deal with a handful of condo transactions a year, it's Kevin's main forté. He has insights into the "too good to be true" spots, that an otherwise inexperienced buyer could fall for. With Kevin's help I was fortunate enough to win the first condo I put an offer on, which was on the market for only one day untill it was reviewing offers. I was already competing with 2 other offers at the table. Shortly after one nail biting hour, I got the call "congratulations, you won!", Couldn't have done it without Kevin. The condo group also provides their customers with support/questions involved in the buying process. Unfortunately, seems like you can't casually enter the real estate market on a whim anymore. You need to be prepared with your assets ready, and work with savvy real estate agents that know how to work with the real estate market of today.
