We started to look for a new home on our own, but it became clear we would up our game with professional help. Not knowing any real estate agents in Montreal, we trusted on-line recommendations and found Angela. Zero regrets. We have been very pleased and as a result, purchased our current home on the Plateau, and sold our downtown condo. After an initial 2-hour meeting, Angela facilitated many viewings of properties for sale, working well with our availability, and allowing us to refine what would ultimately suit us. I typically do not write reviews. This would be an exception to the rule. She was our broker for a condo purchase in Montreal to be used as pied-à-terre. She genuinely wants to find the right property that fits her client's needs. Angela is extremely organized and openly provided as much background information and market data to make an informed decision. She was extremely patient throughout the process and will offer her objective opinion and guidance to ensure we don't overpay on a potential property and that it will serve us well as a long-term investment. Unlike other brokers I've worked with, she doesn't steer you toward a Notary, banker, etc. She provides an open list of notaries, bankers, insurance agents she worked with where her other clients have provided positive feedback and let you reach out to see if they fit. She's extremely responsive and attentive. We've always received a response within a few minutes, or by end of the day if she's at a conference. Even on holidays and well after closing on a purchase. Lastly, she does have a keen eye to details. She was able to see potential concerns at properties that we didn't pick up on during the visits. In one example, she noticed slightly different wood flooring in one of the bedrooms. When we later reviewed the 'Declarions by the Seller of the Immovable', it revealed that the unit experienced water infiltration a few years ago.

And at the finish line, as unexpected details and hurdles may arise when finalizing the transaction, Angela’s experience and calm are definitely assets to rely on. All this to say that, although it may have been a long adventure, Angela and her team accompanied us all the way, keeping us motivated and hopeful in moments when we thought we would never find what we wanted.
