I love living here and I love renting with boardwalk as they have always been good to us for the 3 years we have rented with the company. Meadow Park is absolutely beautiful, you have small patches of trees and yard to play in, large back yard for the kids and the animals, you can garden and plant on your own, very friendly neighbors. I mean you seriously cannot go wrong! Staff is always friendly and helpful and maintenance is amazing!

Update: please let us get faster internet!! We are able to upgrade only to infinet 175, even though Sasktel provides up to 1GB in Saskatoon. I emailed customer support and two different people told me "to the best of my knowledge, you can call sasktel and upgrade to 1GB" YOU CANNOT DO THIS. I have called sasktel. They will not let us because of the agreement with Boardwalk. I ready like the area, they always keep it clean, they mow the grass in the summer and plow the snow in the winter which saves us a lot of time. Basic maxtv and internet are included and we just pay the difference for increasing the speed. My neighbors are great. One thing I do wish is that they had cameras on site because I had my bike stolen (bike lock was cut) recently, and my neighbor almost had his stolen a few months ago. Other people have had the same issue. We don't have fences around the backyards so there's no additional ways of deterring thieves. It would also be nice to have a backyard to let my dog run around without being tied up.

Boardwalk (Meadow Park Estates) has become more concerned with profit than reasonable/healthy living conditions. The ongoing rodent problem, the grounds are a disgrace, the suites are falling apart.. the quality of what is placed in the suites (appliances, carpet, paint..etc) is the cheapest that $ can buy. It appears the the "premium" suites are the only ones that they will fix to livable standards. The only incentives are to attract new tenants. To the one review on "the big backyard"?? Wrong!..it is a park.. the "yards" are a mere few.. FEW feet.. with NO privacy!!.. and dead/heavily weeded grass. Perhaps Boardwalk should use some of that money they are scamming from tenants for pet fees.. and use it.. instead of pocketing it!!

We recently moved out of Meadowpark, and though the experience was reasonable during the period that we were there, they are now attempting to charge us ~$650 for "cleaning" after move out, some of which is covering damages that were present on move in, and others which were for general wear-and-tear. All I can say is 1) ensure all issues are recorded in the initial inspection and 2) insist on a post move-out inspection, and insist that you are present for it. Disappointingly exploitative on the part of the company, and reflective of a general attitude which the company has for its tenants.

you exist when they are trying to set you up with a contract, you don't exist after that. units are alright, nothing special but reflect the price. neighbors are miserable (ours scream at each other almost daily.. few times in the early AM) Work was promised to be done on our unit (part of our agreement to move in early) and still has not been done. (your welcome boardwalk for the 2 weeks rent, glad to see you hold up your end) They were supposed to paint the cupboards, replace the counter top in the bathroom and the one cupboard door in the bathroom.. Now all of a sudden it is JUST the counter top. (which is just getting done, 7 weeks after the fact) They do not abide by the tenancy act 24/hr notice to enter policy. We got a letter the morning of, and now got a letter the night before (for morning). They also never showed us around, telling us how everything worked (they made 3 appointments 2 weeks after they were supposed to come, canceling every time HOURS after they didn't show up.. this was all under time we had booked off for...) "we are busy" is the typical answer to everything If you are students these places are probably not too bad, otherwise I couldn't recommend them. you get what you pay for i guess p.s. anyone interested will find this info useful you pay all utilities which we have been able to do for 230ish a month...but we are VERY mindful of what we use, you can be sure this will be much higher in the winter.
