I have been a tenant in buildings managed by Macro Properties since February 2009. I have found the Macro property management team to be professional and very helpful. All of my requests/issues have been dealt with in a timely and efficient manner.
The Macro Building, where I lease space is very old but loaded with character. There can be challenges with the heat and cooling systems but the people at Macro Properties work hard to keep temperatures comfortable and tenants happy. I looked at numerous other office spaces over the years but found that the downtown location, with an elevator in the building, and the cost to lease in this building provided me with the most affordable and convenient space for my business.
Over the years, Kim and her property management crew have been open to proposals that I have submitted in order to accommodate my growing and evolving art therapy and counselling business. We have always been able to come to agreements that work well for both of us. The landlord has always been easy to deal with also.
When I moved from my previous suite to a larger suite this past summer, I was in regular contact with Kim, Eddie, and Macro’s team of trades - Jerry, Kevin and Nick. Communication with myself and coordination of the trades made my move painless. Everyone worked hard to help me move into my new suite and make it my own unique and colourful space.
Through the earlier months of COVID shutdown and even since, there has been extra cleaning/disinfecting of our building which is greatly appreciated! Provincial regulations are followed closely in the building.
I also rent a parking space through Macro Properties. During the COVID shutdown, the landlord offered the parking for free for a number of months which made keeping my parking space affordable.
The customer service, the communication and the location provided by Macro Properties are so satisfactory that I plan to continue leasing my space until I eventually retire.
