I moved to Prince Albert in 2019, I stayed with some friends until I was able to move out on my own. My partner and I heard about an apartment leasing company in town called Widener. We visited their office and their staff members were very kind and welcoming. They found us a lovely Quaint apartment Along the shores of the Saskatchewan river with a lovely view. The service that we have been given by the company has been exquisite and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay to choose Widener apartment leasing as their one stop shop for a perfect place to stay. Go and see Patricia she is very caring and goes above and beyond to make sure that your apartment hunting experience is a good one.

Terribly maintained building. Always want to raise rent at end of lease terms, do not return damage deposits. avoid wiedner property management as much as possible

This company really takes care of tenants. Managers, employees are very friendly and helpful (Special thanks to Robin!). Neighbours are like family members. In addition, a beautiful view to the Saskatchewan River.

I moved to Prince Albert years ago and lived in various places. I always looked at 33 river street and wished because of the River view. Well I got my chance to move there almost a year ago. Best choice I ever made. It is a clean quiet apartment. I have a beautiful river view. I feel safe there, which was the most important thing. The rent is reasonable and the people that live there are very nice. I do not think I will be leaving anytime soon!!!

We lived in 33 River St apartment for ten months. The apartment is quite nice. Clean and quiet. But, when it comes to service, it's not their priority. We request maintenance to fix something in our unit and it took them almost a week to fix. And when it's time to move out of our apartment that when our worst experience from weidner happened. The area director, Augustine, if I remembered his name correctly, did the move out inspection. He said we won't get anything from our deposit back because they need to clean the apartment. Even the re-painting on the walls he said we need to pay. When I said I'm going to clean the things that needs to be cleaned and just do the inspection the next day he then pointed another issue with the unit. I feel like he just want to make sure We don't get anything from our deposit. I called the Ombudsman Saskatchewan and they said tenants should not pay for any wear and tear just like the paint on the walls. Just a heads up to other people who's moving out from weidner, call Ombudsman Saskatchewan first before scheduling an inspection. Ask everything about what you need to pay when moving out.

I have been in 33 River ST for almost a year, and I really enjoy living there. It is really quiet, clean and the rent is pretty reasonable considering the amazing river view and that everything is included in the rent. The Property Manager Robin that took over the building in the summer of 2019 to present time is really professional and gets things done that you ask of him in a timely manner. And I think he is going to turn the building around for the good of the tenants. And it's a plus that he lives in the building too. Jerome that works in maintenance is really friendly and probably the best maintenance worker I've ever encountered while renting. He is always there and happily fixes anything that you bring to his attention. ***CONS*** Workout room needs some love and upgrades with more equipment. Parking is a bit of a pain and really tight spots. But!!! It is a big building with lots of tenants and limited space for parking that is out of Weidner's control.

We are 100% happy at 33 River Street. In the winter the heat is excellent, we've had absolutely no trouble keeping the apartment warm. In the summer the air conditioner is perfect. Staffing in the office, never had any problems at all. Friendly, understanding, very easy to deal with. As far as maintenance goes, the maintenance man Jerome is very easy. He is always right there on the support and does things immediately. Whenever you need him, he is there. Never had any problem with clientele on the floor. Management looks after any problem right away. Such as evictions for any trouble tenant. The rent is a fair price for what we get, all utilities included! Very happy!

I love it here. Not only are the other tenants friendly and courteous. The apartments are affordable, well taken care of by maintenance and the owners. The fitness room is a great place to go on the treadmill or elyptical, there's a party room where tenants have coffee and play games and if your right for space for family coming to visit. The have guest rooms your extra guests can use. These are some of the beautiful pics I've taken from the building. Great scenery.
