TERRIBLE experience! I'm only giving one star because I can't give zero. We tried to work with Matthew Klonowski and they were terrible at doing their job. We were in a situation where we needed to get our house on the market quickly and they were extremely slow. When we asked Matthew to assign us another realtor under him because ours was not doing his job, came across as rude and was giving us incorrect information, he didn't. After waiting a week to meet with Matthew we finally looked for help from another real estate firm to help get us out. Even then, knowing we were under a crunch to sell our house Matthew gave us an ultimatum of having our new realtor pay him 25% of her commission on our sale and on our purchase... for doing NOTHING. He says it was to cover marketing costs but they hardly did anything for us. It took us days to have them take down an old video of our property from before renovations. He is a snake and never should have had us under any contracting for purchasing a house at this point anyways but we didn't know better so they took advantage. Completely unethical! Then he had the nerve to speak poorly about us to our new realtor - we had never even met the guys because he wouldn't prioritize coming to meet an unhappy client. As a heads up to anyone new to purchasing/selling: they had us sign 1 year contracts which is NOT standard and do not let them tell you otherwise. I would never recommend getting into a contract that long, especially when you don't know whether the brokerage is good at what they do. After leaving Klonowski we were able to sell our house in weeks, everything happened so fast and we had great results. It was painless with another realtor. Never EVER would I recommend Matthew Klonowski.
