These guys are crooks. Dont trust them. They will promise things and then change it last minute. They will lie, steal and withhold information to make a sale. If you are selling with them they will do everything to lower your asking price while pumping up the things YOU will do to the home that you have no intentio of doing. Then the buyers will sue you for not finishing the things they claimed you would. These guys are crooks! Stay away from them.

I can't say enough about Ian and his team. Ian is very knowledgeable about real estate in Barrie and in surrounding communities. He helped me to get a great price for the house I was selling, even arranging (at no charge to me) for an interior designer to walk through the house with me and provide many tips to make the house looks it's best. Ian was very patient while I looked at dozens of houses to try and find one I wanted to purchase. He definitely seemed more interested in making sure I made the right decisions than he was in just making a sale, which isn't true for all agents. Ian provided great advice every step of the way, and was encouraging when I was just about ready to give up. (With the competitive 2021 market, I tried for 5 homes before I was successful.) Ian and his team work very smoothly together, so that the one or two times I wanted to see a house but Ian was not free, another agent stepped in and I never had to wait. Ian was very responsive to my emails and texts, and patiently answered all of my questions about the process, houses I was seeing, neighborhoods, strategies for selling and buying, etc. I would have no hesitation recommending Ian and his team to family and friends.

I had the pleasure of working with Ian on the recent sale of a house in Barrie. Ian was the Listing Agent, and I the Selling (Buyer's) Agent. To start with, the MLS Listing information was well and accurately presented, property pictures were professional, realistic, and numerous, and our weekend showing request was promptly accepted. When my clients and I walked into Ian's Listing, it was immediately evident that he had spent time advising his clients on how to - honestly - present the property in its best light. The house was clean, bright, and had a nice balance of neutrality with some personal pictures and mementos tastefully included so one was visiting a real house - not a sterile environment prepared just for buyers (or magazine photo shoots!). When I had questions following our visit to the house, Ian was reachable on his phone, and could answer property-specific questions on the spot. A written offer followed, and while Ian was a tough negotiator, I felt that both of our clients came away feeling they got most of what they wanted - the "win-win" which quality Realtors believe is possible in just about every deal. Even once the deal firmed up, Ian and his team were responsive to email and telephone queries - to the extent of getting measurements from the Sellers via telephone and email for the size of the opening available for a refrigerator in the kitchen. With this deal wrapping up now, I only wish the Realtors that I'll work with in 2015 are as professional, honest, and responsive as Ian. PS: Ian was out of town for a few days at one point, and when I had questions, his team was able to respond quickly and accurately in his stead... amazing!
