We had met Brad through our BNI business group and had gotten to know him quite well over the past couple of years. During one of Brad's presentations, he introduced a house to the group and had indicated with the suites included, that we would be able to purchase it as we would be able to afford the mortgage. This started our whirlwind process into the purchase of our new house and the sale of our old one. The purchase process was quite straight forward, we finally settled on a price and made it subject to the sale of our old house. That is where the fun began... We had several people look at our house while it was up for sale but just couldn't seem to find the right person to purchase it. Then Brad had a new client and introduced him to our property. The client turned out to be very particular and it took quite some time to conclude the sale of our house. Brad went above and beyond in getting the deal completed, making concessions where necessary, getting all parties involved on the same page and making the deal happen. What Brad doesn't know is that we are aware that he went even further than his dealings with us directly to complete the deal to ensure it happened. Without Brad's efforts, this deal would have not completed. I would like to conclude with Brad is NOT our Realtor of choice in Victoria, he is our Realtor for LIFE. In dealing with a nervous client, he consistently made himself available 24/7 to answer questions, seek remedies to perceived stresses and generally hold her hand throughout. Due the the nature of a hotel condo, it turned out to be far more complicated to sell than we had expected. How do I sum up everything I want to say about Brad in one review? I've known Brad for 13 years. My husband and I have used him for two different real estate transactions and have also called him on him several times to find out the sold prices of houses or to get more information about a property. He always has time for us. He is patient, personable, kind, and also has a great sense of humour. Most recently, we asked him to help us find a new place to live in Victoria. We had been given notice by our landlords in the last month of my pregnancy. It was extremely stressful to find a new place to live, but Brad made it the least stressful experience it could have been. So we've finally sold our house. In a slow market I might add. We had originally listed with another agent but weren't completely satisfied. I jumped on Google and queried top agents in Victoria, discovering Brad listed as one of the best. I remembered a friend who had listed with Brad. Brad called him one day and asked, "Do you have a pressure washer? If so can I borrow it?" Yes and yes. Brad then washed parts of the house my friend was selling, he even went onto the roof to remove some branches. Hired. We are extremely happy with our entire experience with Brad. First of all he listened. We've bought and sold three previous houses, each with a different agent because we were not completely happy. Either they didn't listen, were pushy and only focused on a quick sale, didn't work hard enough, were smarmy, or didn't do their homework leaving us with a bad purchase. Brad was none of those. He provided solid advice and then allowed us to make our decision. It was like he was selling a house for one of his family members. Brad showed diligence, and true dedication to the sale. Open houses regularly, constant marketing through various mediums. Selling a home is stressful enough without your agent adding to it. Not with Brad. He's a local boy, with a wealth of knowledge and experience about the area and the market. He is persistent and always quick to reply to our questions.
