So around 2 years ago we had a discussion with Chris about buying a home. After he had referred us to a mortgage company we took care of those things first. Once we had our finances in order we reached out to Chris to set up a meeting to start the process of looking for our very first home. Our initial conversation set the ground work for him to begin finding the right fit for us. As we started viewing homes he quickly started to see what was really catching our attention and what wasn’t. Each time we went hunting for homes, Chris was quickly zeroing in on what we wanted and also needed. There was never a moment that we felt as if he was trying to put us into a home that wasn’t right for us. Once we found that house, our first home, Chris really started to roll up his sleeves and dig in. His commitment to his clients showed up at an even greater magnitude. With every email and text he was making the entire process go smoothly. With any home purchase, the overwhelming feelings the buyer has can be very difficult. Chris completely removed those feelings for us. He made it enjoyable and he was always at the other end of the phone to handle any questions or concerns we had. Right up until we closed he was nothing shy of amazing. His work ethic for us was amazing. We can not thank him enough for all the effort and hard work he put in for us. If your a first time buyer or even looking for that new home, please do yourself a favour and send Chris a message. Chris is not your typical real estate man! This guy is so chill and laid back and down to earth I felt like I was going to check out houses with my buddy! My partner and I were first time home buyers that decided to buy a house when our landlord told us the house we were residing in was going on the market. I googled first time home buyers and found Chris! From that first very uncertain call not even knowing if the bank would approve a mortgage I knew I was in good hands. Sure he laid out a solid 5 year plan for me in the event the bank laughed me out the door. He talked to me about RRSPs and getting addicted to saving over spending and just generally gave me enough great info on how to get to where you want to be in life that at the end of our call I felt bad that he hadn't charged me a thing! We looked at tons of houses in a short period and I sent him piles of long winded texts from morning until night 7 days a week! Not once did he tell me where to go! He responded promptly and really got stuff moving for us. At the same time he was very upfront and honest when he could see we were choosing places to view out of fear our rental would sell before we found the perfect place to call home. He acted as a therapist to me more than once! He reassured us we would find the spot and with his past contracting experience he was able to really point out lemons from gems. At the end of the day he lead us to our beautiful new home and held our hands through every step, even the ones I was combative about. I would absolutely recommend Chris to any prospective home buyer!
