I can't even begin to write all the great things about Michael and Willemina! We have now purchased two homes with them and could not be happier. They go above and beyond for their clients - they are completely honest (a refreshing change for a real estate agent!), personable and just all around wonderful people. They have an extremely high level of communication throughout the buying process, and are even more prompt at responses. In buying our second (current) home this past December, they rushed back from Edmonton to view a home with us we had viewed earlier in the day and were quite excited about. While they were driving, they had an offer written up for us so we could proceed quickly if needed. Within 10 minutes of us leaving the viewing, we told them that we would like to move forward with the offer (this was about 4pm). Between 4pm and 8pm we had phone calls back and forth as there was a second offer on the property. Through Michael and Willemina's guidance, we were able to put in a competitive offer that was fair to the property value, and received confirmation of the acceptance by 830pm that evening. They are hands on through the whole process, even following up with us to make sure all has been going well, and even ensuring they sent along well wishes for the birthday of our first born, and the birth of our second. Amazing people, amazing service. The only negative thing is that we are now in our perfect home, and won't be able to work with them again for some time!!! I do not hesitate to recommend them to anyone for any real estate needs.

Michael Montgomery is not a real estate agent, in the sense that agency implies a fiduciary relationship ("the relationship wherein one person has an obligation to act for another's benefit"). Michael Montgomery is a real estate SALESPERSON, in that he will take his commission and be on his way, no matter if you need him. We bought a house with Michael as our "agent" and the night before possession, there was a leak in the second floor. Michael told us it was no big deal and that we should do a holdback of $5000 (this insurance claim ended up costing well over $20k). By the time we showed up to see the house, water was leaking from the second floor through to the first floor and the BASEMENT. When we mentioned that we were extremely disappointed that the house was in such a condition, Michael ghosted. As in, no response at all. Not even a house warming gift. The picture with text is what Michael told us the water damage looked like. The other pictures are what we walked in to. So much for a "small leak". Here's the question you need to ask yourself: do you want an agent, or a salesperson, representing you in the biggest purchase in your life?

I had a great experience working with Michael of Renzo Real Estate in finding my new home in Calgary recently. After a friend referred me to Michael in 2015 the search began, at the time the target was a downtown condo. Being new to area Michael introduced me to the various downtown Calgary neighbourhoods and the amenities within, explaining the high and low points of each, spending as much time as needed to answer all my questions. However plans unfortunately changed at the time, and the search went on hiatus. Fast forward 2 years and I was again looking in the Calgary market. With different intentions I was now looking for a single detached home yet still close to downtown. Michael immediately accommodated me and we were off looking. Again, Michael's knowledge of the areas and eye towards value were invaluable in making a decision. I settled on a great property in the Ogden area and in negotiations Michael secured a price even lower than the "final" counter offer from the seller. I'm really excited for the prospects of my new neighbourhood and plan to purchase a second area property in the coming years. Michael will no doubt be my first call.

I have had the good fortune to work with Renzo to sell my condo and purchase a new home. Since I can’t post the infinite number of examples of how amazing they are, I have tried to limit this review to my top 3 reasons why Renzo should be the only representation you consider. 1. Integrity - I truly felt as though they were representing my best interests at all times, with no hidden agenda. We scoured the market for 10 months, exploring every inch of the city trying to find the right house for me. At times, I wondered how they could put up with me for so long with no glimpse of a purchase in sight. However, they stuck with me, kept me from making rash decisions, and helped me find a house that worked for me. I’ve heard many stories about people who felt pressured to buy by their representatives (#commission), but I never once felt like Michael and Willemina would lead me down the path of regret. 2. Advocacy - They go above and beyond. I’m not entirely sure what the exact job description of a realtor is, but I’m 100% sure that Renzo does more than what the industry standard is. I can attest to this both on the side of the seller and buyer. More than once, we encountered an uncomfortable situation, and they dealt with every one of them on my behalf (even when I wasn't available… It was seamless!). They had my back, had my best interests in mind at all times, and did some pretty excellent things to satisfy my often “high maintenance” needs and worries. In fact, even after my recent purchase closed, they continued to work with the other side to ensure every little error or omission was rectified to my satisfaction. 3. Relationships - Although far from it, I always was made to feel like I was their only (and most important) client. Given the time demands of my job, navigating the real estate world was challenging. However, and I’m not sure how, Renzo just made things happen for me. They were extremely professional, candid when appropriate, and treated me just like family. Furthermore, they are well connected and can answer the most obscure questions promptly. As a millennial, I even felt comfortable calling them! The relationship itself was a huge bonus, and took a lot of stress out of the process. I have since referred a few friends to Renzo, and their comments have been similarly glowing. Thanks guys!
