We moved in a renting house NW of the city... and we were stuned by the house but also the professionalism of Carlo... very easy and smooth communication and responses when needed... whenever there's an issue he's getting back to us or solve the issue right away... glad that we choose Realty Canada for renting .... respect attract respect meaning you'll get all the respect and courtesy from Realty Canada if adressed with respect and professionalism... thats what we do and we get awesome responses and issues solved.

A joke to deal with as they bend you over backwards and give it to you by saying they dont do month to month when renewing lease....then they hose you when when you have to break lease.( they even have month to month on thier forms will not allow that option) Crooked as they come.

This company has managed my very small apartment for ten years. Carlo does an amazing job finding good tenants and always treats me and my rental property with respect and care , even though it is just a small apartment. Yvette does a great job from the office. I really appreciate that they just email and make communication easy . It’s so rare to find such great service these days . As I live in Victoria, I really appreciate what they do for me. Don took this over 10 years ago and did a great job after I had a bad experience elsewhere. Thank you all!!

Do not rent from them unless you are well versed in landlord and tenancy laws and can be firm. These guys will neglect their responsibilities when possible and then try to hose you when you move out. The property was in ever increasing states of disrepair, even a few code violations. We were told they would get fixed, but the delays just kept happening. Finally we got action on some issues when we called the health inspector in. When we moved out they tried to ding us for damage that was there when we moved in. Then they tried to make us pay $1000 more than our damage deposit. They even tried charging us $300 for cleaning though no cleaning crew woud have time to come in between us moving out and the new tenants moving in (the ones we did the work to sign). FYI, we took them to dispute court and won. We got most of our damage deposit back. Hopefully they learned a lesson or two.

Bunch of con artists id say. They somehow come up with a whole lot of hidden costs after you sign with them. When I moved in the house wasn't even cleaned. Very rude staff unprofessional I wouldn't recommend to anyone. Also their repair person doesn't do a very good job. I could have fixed what he fixed better than him. Very disappointed.

We have rented with 4 other properties and by far this was our worst experience. I would not recommend this company nor Carlo as he is unprofessional and tries to get anything he can out of your rental damage payment. Lies made up for things not cleaned. I heard boardwalk has bad reviews, but you have a better chance of having professionals there then with this company. I hope ive helped others not go through the same thing ive gone through. I know one thing for sure, what goes around comes around and I know one day it will catch up for trying to rip off nice, hard working people who never once had a noise complaint or damaged the property.

After renting with this company for 9 years they would not make concessions for me to leave my lease 2 months early to take possession of my first home, not even in exchange for keeping additions and upgrades made on the property that they had previously ensured that we would be reimbursed for. I would never recommend that anyone rent with this agency.

I never had any issues renting from realty, very reasonably priced, for the location with reg, ground maintenance and repairs were done within a reasonable time frame. Although when I moved out there was alot of surprise charges off my damage deposit. It was the type of situation that would go no where typically, but turned out they were very down to earth people; who took the time to hear me out cut me a new cheque and I left with what was fair. Good people :)

if i had it my way i would give realty canada less then one star rateing they do in efficient repairs and the up keep on propertys and repairs are horrible and when they take over manageing they dont even follow renting laws and currently are in process of court proceedings from tenants use all caution when renting from them and when they rent places there not even cleaned properly and if i had ways would get less then 1 star rateing but google wont let you do that and when they say repairs are complete there not complete or even properly fixed too

This is our first year renting with Realtycan. Carlo has been wonderful and great to talk to. They go above and beyond their renters needs. I had an issue of a faucet leak at our place and the matter was dealth with promptly. Great service and wonderful people! Definitely recommended!

Truly awful. Carlo especially has no clue what he is doing. We were told on move in the house had been professionally cleaned, we're now learning that was false. Rented a $30 carpet cleaner and got the stains we were told "wouldn't come out". The whole business is a joke. Carlo didn't even know what a money order looked like. He also told me that when they changed the locks, they would leave the keys in the oven for me. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO GET INTO THE OVEN WITHOUT THE KEYS CARLO? Ridiculous. Glad our landlord fired them.

Very unresponsive property manager. There are many repairs building up that have been communicated to them and we have been unable to reach them when needed. Asbestos has been found in our house and we are currently unable to reach the property manager. We will not be renting with them again.

Adam Tieland is my property manager and I’ve had nothing but good experiences so far with my apartment, from how clean it was to when we moved it to how fast I’ll get a response about any questions or concerns everything is perfect. I’ll update my review if it changes over my time here but so far so good, 10/10

The staff at Realty Canada are knowledgeable when it comes to their buildings and only want what is best for their tenants. Realty Canada has managed a few properties for my family and myself for a number of years now (at least 10+ years). We deal with Carlo, and he is great! He's always working hard to keep both the tenants and landlords happy and when repairs are needed, he gets them done quickly and efficiently. When there is a vacancy, he works hard to find another tenant quickly. I have recommended Realty Canada to others and will continue to do so.
