After almost 2 months having couples sessions with Kaitlyn, I feel like she couldn’t wait to “get rid of us”. When we were having major issues, Kaitlyn informed us about breaching her protocol as we sent an email that contained more information than what she advised us for allowed. She said email correspondence should be only about scheduling. Instead of giving us a warning as it was our first time “ breaching the protocol“, And having regular sessions for over two months with her, she sent us an email closing our case with her and referring us to someone else. I feel like the situation was not dealt with properly and for that reason would not recommend other couples to go through what we went through. I also didn’t appreciate the fact that the information we shared with her, she shared with social workers right away and created huge amount of stress to our entire family. Family and children services did not have any concerns but just going through so much chaos was very unnecessary. As a couple who is having issues with the relationship, social workers were the last thing we needed to deal with. Could be the lack of experience or maturity but I I am very disappointed with the service that was provided.
