I was searching for counselling and psychotherapy services and was recommended by Alannah Care who is a team member of Advance Health. Having checked out and explored the website for advance health, I found the website extremely easy to navigate and was able to find the information on all services offered at this clinic as well as bios for all of the psychologists and psychotherapists at this clinic. When in doubt, I could reach the clinical intake coordinators via the phone number on the website to gain more insight into each therapist and to book an appointment. I've never sought out professional services before so getting to know the team and the areas they specialize in has given me a better sense of who would best suit my needs and has made my inquiry much easier. I am greatly impressed by Advance Health!

I first started seeing Dr. Tahira Jibeen since October of 2020. Through cognitive behavioral therapy, we were able to address immediate issues of stress and emotional disturbances; but she also encouraged me to engage with its deeper roots of social anxiety and trauma. It hasn't been a year of therapy yet but I already feel changes. I did not only learn coping techniques (which I am implementing in my day-to-day), I'm healing in a bigger way by gaining a sense of self-awareness and a healthier self-concept. I'm really thankful for Dr. Jibeen - working with her has been really transformative.
