I doubt that Gilles will remember me (it's been almost 20 years) but I've never forgotten him. I was in my 40's then and in tremendous emotional pain including depression, anxiety, codependence, substance abuse, etc. It was couples therapy and I think I cried most of the time. But Gilles always understood what I was blubbering about and could put it into the right words. He was so 'present' during the sessions and I felt so understood. He managed to insinuate suggestions and ideas that I didn't fully grasp at the time. They were seeds ... they took root ... and I began to change my life. Now I'm 66 years old and I am a different, much healthier and happier person. Just now something Gilles said back then came to mind and I decided to Google him and see if there was a way to say thank you. Gilles, you literally changed my life. I am so grateful. I hope you are well and happy.
