Waited over 3 weeks for an appointment. Received an email reminder confirming my apt for 6:30-7:30 today. received call 45 mins before what thought my appointment was. Wondering where I was. I mentioned the appointment confirmation he email and the time I was given. He said there was a scheduling mistake on their behalf I was not offered a replacement appointment for several more weeks. I made sure that I was available for this appointment confirmation I received because of the long wait. I placed other plans on hold to make time for this apt.
It is frustrating when you are trying to find someone to speak about your mental health, well-being, and the business you are trying to seek help from can't even get their scheduling system working properly. Nor are they willing to help out when it was their mistake. Not a good first impression, especially when you are trying to find a counselor to trust with your personal feelings.
If your a small business and make a mistake reach out to make it right, don't try to kick the can several weeks down the road.
EDIT:
In response,
We live in Saskatchewan and have no daylight savings time... Those errors would not be possible if your system time is set up correctly. Secondly the intake interview, confirmation emails and text messages all confirmed a 6:30-7:30 apt. It was not until 5:40pm the day of the appointment I was told it was 5:30-6:30pm. Last I was not offered an appointment that week, but rather one 2-3 weeks from the scheduled appointment. Which is completely unacceptable and unprofessional given the circumstances.
I am not one to write a bad review and would retract it if the concern was resolved. Given the original situation and zero desire from your end to correct the situation in a timely manner. The poor review is deserved given the lack of service I received.
