When I cancelled an appointment, I was still charged (which, is understandable). I am a student; when I went to pay two separate times for this session (during exam season), the office was closed. However, I went during hours, called ahead of time to warn the company (spoke to someone directly), and both times the office administrator, “went home sick”. As a result, I was unable to pay. I took 2 hours out of my day each time I attempted to pay (because I had to bus). After the second attempt, I was unable to come within two weeks because of exams. They sent me to collections. This situation was handled unprofessionally and caused me a great deal of stress. It is frustrating because the whole situation was easily avoidable, and more importantly, I was cooperating with the company (I was more then happy to pay— I understand, and follow policies).

Dr. McKenzie has been a crucial support to me since a family member was diagnosed with a serious mental illness (and addiction). She is compassionate, knowledgeable, and honest. I wholeheartedly recommend her as a psychologist for short or long term support.
