I attended several Medipsy workshops - the quality of the speakers Medipsy invites is exceptional. The workshops gave me the rare opportunity to learn from master clinicians, gain access to clinical tools that I have readily incorporated into my practice, as well as network with other practitioners and researchers. I have to add that Medipsy always ensures that attendees receive great meals which really helps stay focused and motivated in a day-long workshop. I highly recommend Medipsy's workshops!

I have attended many trainings with Medipsy, covering a wide breadth of therapy modalities. All of these trainings have been extremely practical and useful, and apply easily into my therapeutic practice. I can't recommend Medipsy highly enough, both for training and therapy.

I contacted them in may for a first consult request. They told me to wait. After 1 month with no follow up whatsoever, they said that I had been waiting for no reason and assigned me the same therapist that had me waiting for 1 month... I asked to be assigned someone else (for obvious reason!...) They assigned me an intern with no qualifications for my consult to be reimbursed by my insurance (therapists should be registered under Ordre des psychologues du Qc). I told them this wasn’t working for me, they assigned me.... another intern... ! after almost 2 months of wasting my time, I tell you like it is; go somewhere else...

Medipsy offers a great selection of workshops and trainings in field of Psychotherapy. My experience has been nothing but excellent. they are well organised, the audio visual is well placed and easy to hear, and the facilities are comfortable and well-designed for these presentations. I highly recommend this organisation for collecting CEU's or "upgrading" your knowledge.

I attended a continuing education workshop at Medipsy titled “Rapid Psycho diagnostic Evaluation and Treatment Processes in Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy”. The workshop was given by a top expert in the field and was therefore very insightful and informative. The staff at Medipsy was also very professional and helpful and the whole day was well-organized. I will definitely recommend the workshops at Medipsy to my colleagues in the future.

This is your clinic if you want to see a psychologist/psychotherapist that has qualities of being caring, a professional, has lots of empathy, and is non-judgmental when they take you on as a client. I had some administrative issues and dealt with Maria who not only resolved the issues promptly, she also was such a pleasure and wonderful person to work with. I would not go elsewhere but to this clinic.

This was a few years ago so maybe Medipsy has changed, but I doubt it. I went to Medipsy a few years ago to get tested for ADD as an adult. I was told by people working there that they "did not believe in medication as a treatment for ADD" which spits in the face of half a century of research into extremely well tolerated medicines (such as Ritalin), that can be discontinued at the first sign of a side effect. I was told that I did not have ADD, and that my parents were just putting too much pressure on me. It took me a year, but my family doctor (who has an extensive background in psychology) gave me medication on a trial basis. My depression and anxiety problems almost disappeared after treatment. I managed to comfortably apply and get into McGill by the end of my time in CEGEP. If I had followed Medipsy's advice, I would still be taking $70 weekly dollar life coaching sessions from them with no medication and no diagnosis. I probably wouldn't even be in McGill. My experience of Medipsy was as an expensive boondoggle designed to fleece rich Westmount parents/children out of their money rather than address the root cause of the patient's issues. If you think you might have ADD and are thinking about getting evaluated here, go somewhere else.

Unhappy to let you know that you will be treated like a number ... a bit like a slaughterhouse !! (Original) Service déplorable, pauvre réceptioniste... Doit absorber les plaintes concernant le traitement derrière les rideaux. Façade creuse, le ”service professionnel” et l’attention envers le client n’y est point. Malheureux de vous laissez savoir que vous serez traité comme un numéro... un peu comme un abattoir !!

I had a terrible experience with neuropsychologist Marianne Chapleau. 2 weeks before the appointment (which was booked 2 months in advance), Marianne sends me an email saying that she is canceling the appointment, with no reasons or explanations! She did not even have the courtesy to call me to cancel and she didn't return any of my calls. She put no effort whatsoever in finding a replacement or trying to reschedule at a closer date. All she said was she's canceling the appointment and I need to contact the clinic to reschedule to 5 months from now. What's the point of scheduling an appointment if you can cancel freely without giving a reason????! What's stopping you from canceling again for the next appointment??? Dr. Marianne Chapleau has shown a serious lack of professionalism and work ethic. I am utterly disappointment with the way my appointment was suddenly canceled without explanation. Marianne is untrustworthy and she clearly does not care about her appointments.

The events were very well organized, with knowledgeable and engaging speakers who presented material that was relevant and applicable to practice. Additionally, as a new psychologist, the networking opportunities with other professionals in Montreal were fantastic. Medipsy offer a great CE speaker series. These events are well attended, and highly stimulating. The Medipsy team are incredibly helpful and accommodating. They manage to bring together Montreal's diverse psychotherapeutic community, and provide a delicious lunch, and a warm collegial atmosphere. The series offers a pantheoretical program, with internationally acclaimed presenters. I thoroughly recommend the speaker series at Medipsy, for both continuing education, as well as community engagement. These events have it all.

I cannot express enough my most profound appreciation for my therapy experience provided by Dr. Fitzpatrick. Over the course of 3 months and more than a dozen sessions, I can honestly say that doing so was one of the best decisions I ever made for my personal health / life.
