Here you have the reviews of real people who buy the services and products of Gateway Alliance Medical Clinic - East Regina (Psychologist) in the area close to Regina (Canada).
As of day the firm gets a rating of 2.5 over 5 and the score is based on 74 reviews.
As you can see the average score it has is quite scarce, and it's based on a large number of opinions, so we can conclude that the score is very accurate. If people have bothered to give their opinion when they've done well, it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to place feddbacks when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Psychologist belongs to the category of Medical clinic.
Dr. Koroush Horri is a HORRIBLE physician with a huge ego. His bedside manner is disrespectful at best. Dr. Horri is incapable of communicating effectively with patients and diagnosing issues. He was not only disrespectful to my father who is a senior who is a non native English speaker, he did not address any of my questions or concerns when i asked the physician point blank. He was unwilling to refer to specialists and was very clueless and patient history. All he is good for is refilling medication because that what he did all appointment rather than speaking to the medical issue at hand. When I asked for the reports to me printed or mailed, he simply ignored me and left the room. If I could give 0 stars this would be the business! On top of the horrific physician, the clinic didn't require anyone to wear mask, use hand sanitizer or social distance. The doctor and receptionist didn't even have masks...I do NOT recommend this clinic at all!
Dr. Javadi prescribed me the wrong medication and ignored his messages. Waste of my time. Receptionist staff is horrid and ignorant. I would not recommend. P
Very polite staff and Doctors
Such a great clinic. I have been to many and this one is by far the best. The wait time was well worth it. The doctors here care and take time to really understand your problem. They answer any questions you need. Dr. Bhagaloo is fantastic. Highly recommend this clinic.
Not walking in it need to make appointments i was on the phone for 15 minutes waiting
Really like my doctor here, but had to wait way too long on the phone to make an appointment. Is there anyone working the phone line?
Amazing Doc's, usually have some wait times but so worth the wait!
Don't go see Dr.Horri, horrible bedside manner and makes vast assumptions without looking at the facts.
Disappointed with the wait times on hold and to get into your actual appointments. Was there a few weeks ago, saw my doctor, needed a appointment a few weeks later, and he suddenly moved to BC. Would be nice if patients were told. Now they want $75 for my personal medical file and another $75 per person in my family. Dr. Javadi was nice, but the staff and wait times are brutal.
I seen Dr.Horri and he was concerned about me but my concern was also the pain in my knee which he never looked at and my pain in my arm either plus my hand I told him how much pain I'm in and numbness as well.I also felt worried when he slammed his phone by his computer and sounded stressed with me I felt. Then when I got home I was told I wouldn't have my prescription until Dr.Horri answers the pharmacy questions so in the meantime I have to wait for meds until he answer them .Not happy at all I used to see Dr. Javidi after he left I was seeing Dr.Horri but now I'm not happy at all and concern of my health.
I have been a patient at Gateway since Dr. Juggernath moved his practise there. I appreciated him as a doctor but it wasn't uncommon for him to come in late and start the day behind (happened to me 2x). The clinic group is very disjointed and dysfunctional. Faxes frequently get "lost" and if you don't do the running around for them nothing will be followed up from their end. I have spoke with two independent agencies/pharmacies who express similar frustrations with the clinic group. Regardless which clinic you call you may be connected with someone from any of the 3 clinics which results in messages not reaching their intended recipient or staff having conflicting (or no) information. It is a very frustrating set up that resulted in me finding a different doctor in a different clinic run far more efficiently and professionally. Unless you only need it as a single-use walk in clinic I would recommend avoiding Gateway Medical Alliance for your family doctor.
I been to all the 3 gateway alliance locations, the east one is the worst one, place is not clean, rudest receptionist in the city. She doesn’t know how to be professional, we expect better people at a medical office. First of all she sits like she is on her couch with her feet up and talk to the patients like she is the boss, no greetings nothing. On my visit on Jan 4/2022, had a terrible experience with her. She tried to send me home without the requisition that my doctor requested. She came and told me , I don’t need a requisition, and I don’t need a follow up appointment, totally other way what doctor told me on the visit. So I stayed there and refused to leave, and she started raising her voice and being rude, doctor came out and he asked what’s the matter , when I explained what has happened and I am still waiting for my requisition, that receptionist was lie ing the entire time for what ever reason. No apology , nothing, ones confronted, she just bend her head. Been to other locations and never had these problems, the north location seems to be spacious and clean.
I have had the worst experience I've even had. Took them two hours to see the doctor. Then doctor never sent the pharmacy my much needed prescription. When I tried to call them back, they were closed next day,Sunday. On Monday I had to wait for 37 minutes and 15 seconds before they answered the phone. When I tried informing them that something is wrong with their system they got very defensive!! I do NOT recommend this clinic to anyone.
Can't keep an appointment expect to wait over a hour for your appointment. Staff want to know the reason your making an appointment over the phone. Have to take you shoes off at the door and the floor can be cold and wet. I see Javadi, he's great but the service is horrible.
The Dr.'s at Gateway Alliance are all amazing! They are great with kids, with me, my wife, and extended family members. Take time to listen, they don't just through pills and surgery at you. They follow up. Dr. Bhagaloo is great! Wait times on the phone to make an appointment are a little long, but worth it for the care my family receives.
Absolute joke of a clinic . Doesnt matter if you were to be dying or a walk in . Book an appointment and expect to wait 1.5 hours plus . Even if they call you with urgent results that could result In organ failure. Should be ashamed of themselves.
The first time I contacted this clinic to book an appointment or get walk-in information, they were able to book me for the same day with Dr. Javadi, whom I wanted to visit. I was 10 minutes late to the appointment and had to wait another half an hour to see the doctor. The receptionist was nice and friendly. The clinic was a bit crowded for the time of the day (the appointment was at 11:30 am). Dr Javadi was very professional and helpful. He spent about 20 minutes listening to every single detail. He also suggested a follow up appointment in 5 days. So the second time I was there, I had an appointment as early as 8:15 am and the clinic opens at 8 am. Surprisingly, there were 3 patients ahead of me and again I had to wait 45 minutes before seeing the doctor.
Doctor Juggernath is excellent. Alliance Gateway could use some work. Their phone system is AWFUL, constantly on hold, I hear people waiting over 20min to book an appointment. I understand they need to make money also, but they book their appointments to close together with no hope of keeping them on time. 9:15 appointment (opens at 8) and didn’t get in until 10. DO NOT book in afternoon, they will be so far behind you will wait up to 3 hrs. East wait times are better thAn the south.
Came here after few sick day as a walk-in at about 8:15am, there were 4 people ahead of me and all seemed to have appointments. It seems the doctor was late this day and got in about 8:30am. I waited about 45m total until i was able to see Dr. Javadi who was very nice and attentive, as he gave me a check up. Connie was at the front desk and while she seemed very busy and maybe abit stressed, she was helpful to me as this was my first time to a clinic and she was not rude, pushy or dismissive to me or anyone else that I saw. Overall this was a fine experiance, yes the wait was long but from what I have read an hour wait is common at all clinics. Doctor and staff was friendly and helpful. I will likely come back
They consistently provide misinformation and have telephone issues resulting in lost calls almost every week. The staff is barely competent, provide different information at each location, fail to contact patients when directed by doctors, refuse to book appointments, and the wait times for scheduled appointments are AT MINIMUM 1 hour late. Would recommend strongly against using this clinic for anything but a note for your work. Unless you like being treated with disdain, having your medical records fumbled, and having a complete lack of confidence in your medical care.
I have been a patient of Dr. Juggernaath’s since January of 2015. He has seen me through countless mental health issues as well as my pregnancy, since my OBGYN did shared care. The clinics are extremely busy. I expect to wait on hold when I call, but on days when I have an appointment, I can call an half hour or so ahead to check on wait times. If Dr. J is an hour behind, they tell me, and I let them know I’ll be 55 minutes. The clinic manager (whose name is escaping me at the moment - Anastasia maybe? It’s definitely Russian in origin) has bent over backwards to get the necessary medical documents to my insurers in a timely manner, and has even sent documents for me before receiving payment so that I can get paid to pay them. I will never switch doctors, so as long as Dr. J is here, my son and I will be patient patients.
Always waiting for over an hour for an appointment, no matter what time I come. ????
I phoned to make a follow up appointment with my dr. I was told that I owed them $50.00 because I didn’t show at a orthotics appointment back in April (10 months ago). I informed the receptionist that I had canceled that appointment 2 days before it over the phone and that I already had this conversation with them a few days after the appointment time . They told me then it was probably their mistake and they’d look into it and get back to me. I assumed all was well when they didn’t get back to me. I informed them today that I won’t pay it and that if they continue to insist then they can talk to the BBB. Also, my pharmacist has been waiting 3 days for the office to get back to them about medication the pharmacy won’t fill until a mistake on the doctors end is corrected. It’s a good thing I have a good doctor there because if my experience with the snippy and totally inept admin staff was what I made my decision on I’d have left there a long time ago.
Came here as a walk in. Went right when it opened and I was in and out in under 30minutes. Doctor was very friendly and took the time to answer my questions/concerns.
I don't know why people have bad experience but I find this clinic have excellent doctors specially Dr. Horri. Firstly, he is very friendly, he may not be on time, sometimes you will wait for an hour for your appointment but I knew that he answered all the questions of his patients. I find it very easy to talk to him and so far has given me.the best medication . The clinic is immaculate clean and the front staff are friendly. Even the One at the North side has excellent doctors.
Awful place to get ahold of, they make you sit on hold for 15-20 minutes then a recording comes on and says call back at a later time. 3rd time today. Been waiting on paperwork dr. Horri was supposed to fax back in the second week of December . Made contact January 11 (to see why paper wasn't received) said paper work is done and they will fax. Today they have no idea about said paper. Get your ducks in a row.
Dr. Horri saved my life. After repeatedly being gaslit and ignored by other doctors, Dr. Horri was the first person who listened to me and advocated for me when no other professional would. I can trust him to send me to a specialist when I need one and to listen attentively to my concerns and problems. I now have a life-changing diagnosis and it is all thanks to him. Sometimes it takes while to get in. Sometimes the office can be disorganized and I have to call back or follow up. But to me, all of that is a very small price to pay for a doctor that actually treats me like a human.
This is my go-to place. I drive from out of ten to come here because I trust the doctor so much more than anywhere else. Been seeing Dr J for years
I'm a new patient at Gateway Medical, having only seen Dr. Javadi once. As far as the doctor is concerned, it's a good place, as Javadi was professional in my one and only experience there. This review is more for the receptionist's desk, in regards to answering calls. Now, they tried to cover themselves by saying that they're experiencing trouble with their new phone system, however I was on hold for 20 minutes two separate times, as well as a couple of five minute on hold experiences where I was assured that I was number one in the queue... In short, still haven't been able to get in touch with someone in order to schedule an appointment to go over my blood work (that I wasn't informed had arrived yet, despite being done over three weeks ago).
I'll start by saying that Dr. Juggernath is excellent and we are very happy to have him as our family doctor. My issue is with the phone/fax system. Often, when I have a prescription or test requisition sent by fax, the receiving end never gets it and I end up having to go back to the office to pick up a paper copy. The phone answering times are unreal; it's not unusual to be on hold for upwards of 30 minutes.
Staff are always polite. All of my appointments have been on time. Often only those with negative things to say post ratings this needs to change.
I lost my trust in Dr. Horri after I my recent reaction to a medication. He did not deal with the situation in a timely fashion. Waiting five days for a response is not acceptable. Also, the office is not practicing social distancing in their office.
Had a ruptured achillies, I knew it was ruptured, the doctor thought it was just a sprained ankle. He sent me away said to rest and ice while you wait a few days for an ultrasound. I left, immediately went to the hospital, they booked me for surgery. Ignorant and unprofessional, you could tell he had no idea and still “diagnosed” me. I would never go there.
This clinic is too slow and if someone is in sever pain they should do something quickly. They spend one hour plus on one patient. I came here with really bad pain at 9 am and I've been waiting here till almost 11am. They sure do take their sweet time. Not going to come here anymore!
I had a doctor just walk out on me in the middle of an appointment. I was confused because he did not explain what was going on with my prescriptions. I was shocked! The receptionist always hangs up and is very rude. You make an appointment for a certain time and it takes between 45 minutes to 1 hour to actually see the doctor, so why make an appointment? This place is the worst clinical centre I have ever had the disgust in dealing with. So this is what I got from GAMC: Response from the owner8 hours ago Good day Gary, We are disappointed to hear about your experiences with the clinic. If you are willing, we would like to reach out to you to learn more about these incidents. Please do let us know if we can contact you to discuss this further. Regards GAMC So owner I bet i will not hear from you and this is just smoke. You have my contact information, so lets see if I get a response
Not Trustworthy My kid get a fever, since it's a sympton of COVID, we are not allowed to go to clinic. Receptionist told me that doctor will call me back and ask more details by the end of the day. Based on my experience of this clinic, I have to follow up and remind them I'm waiting for call back. But even that, I still not receive any phone call. Very disappoint!!!
Receptionist was very nice and professional and answered all my questions she got me in quick with appointment.. not sure about Dr yet... .. ..
Poor customer service. Called and was put in queue (place number 8). I waited on the phone for 15 minutes, no call back option. After investing time waiting in line the automated phone system told me that their lines were busy and I should call back later... so I guess I have to get back in at the end of the line? Simple solution... put in a call back feature... offer online booking with my family physician... I got an appointment the next day which was nice to be able to get in quickly, but my appointment was at 11:15a and I didn't get to see the doctor until 12:45pm. When you look at medical clinics across Regina they all have low ratings. Why is this the standard of service that we have come to expect in this city? That being said, Dr. Juggernath is a good doctor.
I just left his doctors clinic. What a fantastic clinic with an amazing doctor! Dr. Khak just completed the most thorough physical examination I have ever had done. He also appears to be one of the most knowledgable doctors I have encountered. Check this place out they are amazing.
Very bad organization, I wait one hour for the doctor.
Dr Katharine Berrimen - Worst doctor ever. So glad she is retiring and it was the last time i had to deal with her. I had to ask her questions for all the tests she did in my physical as she wasn't going over them on her own for me. When i asked another question about the very thing I had booked the appointment for, she kicked me out of the room saying "you already asked 4 questions thats all i can do for you today" I asked her a question that she didn't listen to and angrily started repeating the same thing she already explained which is not what I had asked!! She starts flipping and banging objects hard out of anger during the appointment. Its actually pretty scary. I think she suffers from serious anger management issues and finally realised she has no patience left for the patients which is why she made the 1 correct decision of her life to not practice anymore. Horrible lady doctor - goodbye forever!!! P.s. Dr Katherine! If you are reading this..its understandable that you have no interest in patients' medical issues or wellbeing anymore, but the least you can do is be a bit respectful, and control your emotions. No one deserves this kind of abuse from you! It maybe hard but try and be a little more civilized.
The doctor is good. But east clinic's new reception staff was really worst. She was really rude.
Waited too long to make appointment for a friend. There must be something wrong with the phone or everyone is gone for lunch. July 29th 11:14. Good Grief
The doctors here are second to none. If it looks like they are busy, you can always ask the staff it the doctor is on time. If not, they will estimate your wait and they have no problem with you leaving to run errands. As long as you are back by the estimated time, you will get seen. Call early if you want a walkin appointment. They are a popular clinic and rightfully so.
Went as a walk in was told there were no Dr. In they all left as they had no appointments? What about walk in. Why be open if you have no one to work?? Surprised the receptionist was there
It seems like they just treat you as a number, no-one cares when it comes to the service. Neither receptionist nor the Doctor. There is absolutely no respect for someone's time. I went there 3 times as I had no choice, all 3 times I had to wait for 20-30 min. It would be nice to communicate with patients and let us know if they are running behind. Everyone deserves to be respected about the time.Doctor I saw seems like she was less interested to know about me, instead she was more about number of visits I had to make. They must be getting paid by number of visits I guess.
I tried to make an appointment for a full checkup at the East clinic as a new patient, but was given a 15 minute window to visit with a doctor, from 4:45pm to 5:00pm (the time the office closes), by a receptionist who also asked me personal medical questions over the phone. I've never had to do this for other clinics before, and it didn't feel comfortable from the start. When I called back the next day to reschedule the appointment, I mispronounced the name of the doctor I was to see, and the receptionist (who barely had a handle on English) rudely corrected me. I decided just to cancel the appointment with Gateway Alliance Medical and made one elsewhere. If you want to gamble with your health by dealing with this clinic's questionable staff, it's up to you. That's a risk I would prefer not to take.
you can be on the phone for 30 min or more to book an appointment
I had an appointment to see a doctor at this clinic. They called two days in advance to confirm. I had a migraine and called to cancel. They told me that because I confirmed they wanted money to cancel the appointment. I hate this place. You wait for hours with every appointment but when you cancel you have to pay. So pissed at them.
Incredible doctors and superb receptionists . Always a pleasure going in for an appointment.
Awful, $55 charge to have access to my own medical records. Legally any person has a right to their own records. Some clinics don’t charge anything, some charge $20. But $55 is Absolutely greedy. Shame
If you have 2 hours + to waste your time sitting in the waiting room JUST to get in to your appointment absolutely go for it. ( yes, 2 hours, they over book each time slot so much to the point that they get TWO HOURS behind) Very nice doctors but absolutely ridiculous clinic, the stupidest wait times I’ve ever experienced for the shortest visits.
Nice guy, terrible staff. Want to wait on the phone for 30min, want prescriptions that never get sent, or a referral that doesn't get booked. This is the place for you!!
Just terrible.
