This is a govt funded through the trades therefore you don’t get qualified quality help you need....having benefits through work and not receiving professional help you need is even more depressing on-top the the depression you deal with ! they didn’t listen or help in anyway. If you seen the movie joker and the way the counsellors helped him this would be the place !

I used this place when I was in a crisis but, I got mediocre therapists who can't differentiate between actual therapy and an outside social experience. It was like a high school experience gone bad to worse. The #timesup and #metoo movement has arrived on the rest of the planet but I don't think it's arrived in Regina yet. Abuse in Regina and Saskatchewan is and was systemic. They wanted to shame me for asking for help. Mental illness is rampant in Canada but, we're not supposed to talk about this. The person I got had as much empathy as a piece of dead wood. Not only did therapy barely scratching the needle of mediocre she gaslighted me and lied to her supervisors that she provided such excellent therapy which was a total lie. I had female therapists that victim shamed me because of their inadequacy to facilitate a safe therapeutic environment. It was 3 different females. If they can't deal with people who are in a crisis why did they go into this line of business? They told me they get Grant's for the facility but, that my crisis wasn't severe enough and they had other people that needed the services. Would you want to hear this is in your therapy session when you're trying to work through a crisis? They're 10 to 15 years behind in times in how they facilitate therapy. They don't turn anyone away for lack of funds. The location is on top of an Indian burial ground.
