Reliable Results

I have severe concerns about Natasha as a therapist. She had an inappropriate relationship with my ex (who wasn't my ex at the time) beginning with them exchanging emails to each others private addresses, not the OCFI address. She was helping him to write a break up letter to me, actually editing it - I saw her handwriting - telling him what to say. She had just graduated at this time and with no experience in her personal life without children to be able to relate to a mother's point of view and having never met me she helped to break up an established marriage, absolved him of guilt for cheating on me and encouraged him to leave me and our children, right when one of our children was going through suicide attempts. This was instead of suggesting that what he needed was couples therapy so we could have counselling together as a couple with children. This was not that, this was him on his own so how could she have an opinion of me? How could she tell him to break up our marriage and leave me for another woman when *she never spoke to me once in her life*? By good practices, she should have been unable to tell him what to do with our marriage since it wasn't marriage counselling she was doing. Seeing her hand writing on this letter crossing out this and that and replacing it with words to use to break up our marriage was shocking. To reiterate, I never met Natasha, never spoke to her so she knew nothing of my side of our story and every time he saw her he came home hating me more and more. He turned against me in the most vile way. So I would not recommend you Natasha and I have very negative feelings towards you and what your 'therapy' did to my marriage and my family. I was blindsided. Zero stars if I could.

We were under the care of Marleen MacDonald for approximately four months. We were each allowed to vent our frustrations, but each day we went home with zero concrete suggestions to improve our relationship. We spent over $1000 at her office, bought her book, and finally Ms. MacDonald advised us to break up and see other people. While OCFI's methodology came highly recommended to us, their practice sadly did not save our marriage.

Therapy is a waste of money and you can get it free anywhere else. I too went for couple therapy and was told some people just can't be helped . That's encouraging. Lol. You're just there to vent basically. You can Google that kind of help. Marlene was our therapist too and what she said stuck with me and my partner and we broke up. 'Some people just can't be helped.'
