Mel consistently creates a warm and safe space for me to share my stories. I met Mel when I was most in need and she welcomed me with open arms. After our first session, I knew Mel was someone I wanted to learn from, someone I wanted to guide me. In sessions, Mel recognizes when I struggle to voice a concern and is patient and gentle with me, allowing me to find my voice on my own time. She recognizes when words fail me and guides me through a mindful practice to help me find those words. She never aims to discuss a topic but, instead, allows the conversation to go wherever I want and am comfortable with. I never feel as though I “should” discuss something. Mel leaves the flow of the sessions entirely in my hands. I never feel judged for a topic I bring up, in fact, Mel expresses thanks for sharing difficult topics making me feel all the more safe and secure with her. I am incredibly grateful for Mel for all that she’s done to help me discover not only a path of self-love, but for her continuous patience in guiding me and genuine care to see me evolve on that path.

I attended a 2 hour Self Love and Mindfulness workshop with Melanie, there was about 10 of us. What i loved about the workshop was that it catered to everyone and not just those who needed an introduction or those who practised Mindfulness already. The meditations, activities and discussions were so powerful, even though I have a regular meditation practise, I took back a lot of new things I could apply on the daily. Mels also very personable, i felt so comfortable sharing some very personal things with her and the rest of the class. Definitely recommended!
