I got into a car accident in September 2018. My car was a total loss and I had injuries in several places. I suffered extreme neck pain and my physiotherapist, Hamedn, was able to relieve most of the pain from the first appointment! I was amazed. After that, he used a variety of techniques and treatments to help me recover. Not only is he knowledgeable, but he is always friendly and pleasant. He truly cares about his patients and would take the time to find a treatment that would work for you. I would recommend him to anyone. I would also like to share my experience in my life I have never ever seen massage therapist like (Kristi schentag )she is awesome, perfect, professional, amazing , I can’t not explain how I am going to write about her. I want to say again thank you very very much I really appreciate it . Without the team of therapists, I wouldn't be able to get to where I am today! Thanks Lifemark! :)

Great clinic with great people. They fixed my back up in only a few sessions and didn't push unnecessary treatments that we're not needed. The massages are great here too but very busy and booked a week or two out. Calling for cancellations daily does work as you can get lucky sometimes.

I am writing this comment to protect the patients from that messy place. I can not believe a place could be so non organized. I went there after a car accident and really suffering of killing pain, after the initiating session I went there for the first session and the physiotherapist told me I am leaving here and you have to go other place or start with other one, I told her I didn't do anything even used the machine for a moment, so their first available time for massage was 24 days later. Can you believe? I couldn't walk and seat, what a messy place is? I told them I am not coming here and you didn't do anything for me. After a month I got a letter from them and they charged me $210 for 30 minuted evaluation and for $105 for my session that I said, even she didn't plug in the machine. i called and left the message and explained what happen to me and asked them to talk to their manager. After 2 months I got a letter and they wanted to send me to collection service and they even got paid $200 from my insurance. I asked them to use my wife's insurance and she sent the documents and called them and got confirmation but they called me again and threatened me. Please just keep away from that lace to protect you and your family, I talked to my insurance and a family lawyer to complain against their non professional and un ethical manner in a court or any professional resolution.

When you're injured, the LAST thing you want to think about is where to go for good rehab. From the reception staff to therapeutic massage to physiotherapy, Lifemark truly provides peace of mind. Have a nagging ankle/leg/back/tendon/neck/shoulder injury? See Marius for a thorough physiotherapy assessment/diagnosis. Follow that up with Gus and/or Brad for excellent kinesthesiology service. Want to take the weight of the world off your shoulders? Book a therapeutic massage with Nooshin, Bruce or the rest of the team. These professionals are just that: professional, courteous and informed. Ask them about your injury and they will educate YOU on how to quickly return to good health. One caveat: YOU MUST DO THE EXERCISES! Visiting them occasionally is not going to cure anything - you are a valuable partner in the healing process. Also very important - top-notch office staff! Nicole and Ayesha and Kezia will ALWAYS do their best to fit you in. I have been seeing Physiotherapist, Peter Wu, for over five months for my back injury. Peter is an outstanding physiotherapist, mainly due to his professionalism, depth of knowledge and ability to communicate conditions and treatments in easy to understand language. He is extremely patient, calm and empathetic. I trust his judgement implicitly. I believe that a great deal of his success comes from his constant appraisal of treatment and exercise that allow him to optimize and individualize treatment for the specific condition. His mind is constantly working and evaluating. Too often physios set the same strategy and only reappraise after five or so visits. Thanks to Peter's treatment and guided home program, my quality of life has improved 100% and I no longer need to take pain killers. I’ve been struck by a car while on my bike about a year ago, being diagnosed with fracture and from Sept 2018 Marius, Uma, Marissa and Gus took a very good care of me. I’m an active person now and expect completely heal soon. I’m very satisfied with the treatment that Marius offered and I consider him one of the most trusting, knowledgeable, professional, friendly and empathetic physiotherapist. I was really impressed with Uma’s knowledge and professional behavior. This place is great. If you want to know the short of it, then you should definitely come here. The longer story is just as interesting. The staff are super friendly and kind and the premises are clean and well maintained. The therapists are equally great as they listen and ask relevant questions to make sure you’re on track and getting better. The location is pretty convenient as well which is nice. Overall I’m really happy with the service here and I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a good clinic. Esther is always at the front holding down the fort and she's super nice so if you get a chance to deal with her you'll be happy you did. Slava, who recently left was an amazing physiotherapist and I was pretty sad to see him go. But I wish him all the best in his new role. Kristi is one of the massage therapists here and she's very good at what she does. Combined with my physio, the massage therapy really helps to loosen right muscles and is very relaxing to boot. Lastly I've recently met Natasha who's (not surpsingly) just as awesome as the other staff. She works at your pace but also helps to identify areas of improvement, which is what physio is all about. Also, Gus is the man. That guy is a straight up boss and if you see him you need to shake his hand. Don't ask why, just do it.

I have been receiving treatment from this facility since June 2017 after I was involved in a minor car accident that caused a sprain in my back and I'm thoroughly impressed on every level. I'm always warmly greeted by the girls at the front desk and they're always willing to work with my ever changing schedule. They don't seem to mind either when I call to cancel my appointments because something work related came up. I've been receiving physio treatment from Dino whom is extremely knowledgable and willing to try anything it takes for his patients to see improvements. Each week it seems like we experiment with different treatment options and he always wants to hear what's working and what isn't. He understands that each body is different and responds to treatments in different ways. We have tried acupuncture, "dry needling", "taping", the ultra sound machine, heat packs and various stretches. I've heard a lot of stories of physiotherapists who only use one method of treatment and how it "did nothing for me" and I'm grateful that I can't contribute to those negative experiences. I've also been coming in for regular massages to help relieve the tension in my muscles. I have an active job that involves a lot of heavy lifting and long hours. I've mostly been seeing Kelly and Alan for massage treatment and they both understand how far they need to push me in order for me to benefit from the sessions without over doing it. They also work on the muscles that are connected to my problem area to ensure complete healing. I have yet to experience any thing negative throughout my time with Lifemark Leslie and Sheppard and I would 100% suggest them to anyone that's looking for treatment.

I have been receiving Physiotherapy and Massage Therapy at Lifemark (Leslie & Sheppard) since early May this year after my 4th MVA. The staff are very friendly and helpful. In particular, I find my therapist, Mr. Hamed Pardehshenas, very caring, knowledgeable and professional. He uses various approaches to ease my pain and teaching me doing exercises to restore the strength in the affect areas. As well, both Ms. Nooshin and Kelly, my Massage Therapists are also caring and professional. I am glad that I was referred to this Physio Clinic. As a whole, I rate this Clinic 4.5 Stars.

They have very friendly staff from beautiful receiptionists to professional technicians, every treament was a fun and relaxing experience. Horrible experience with this location. They are money hungry and do not have your well being at heart. They like to pretend as if they do but really it’s your money they want. Typical. I was told I can do a payment plan and instead of following up they sent the amount to collections. Even though I was waiting to hear back on the payment arrangements. The manager Michelle had nothing to say but for me to contact the collection agency. I am appalled by the customer service this woman has provided, seeing as how I dealt with her directly majority of the time. Never again!

I was scheduled to receive physiotherapy at Lifemark instead of the hospital knee class. Due to the pandemic restrictions, the hospital classes were cancelled. The staff are very professional and pushed me to obtain optimal results post total knee replacement. I received a thorough and challenging treatment regime. I liked that my therapist emailed me the exercises so I could do them at home. I also appreciated the re email reminder of appointments. I also like that the covid screening was sent by email and could be done online. I would return to this location if I require physiotherapy services in the future.

I had a partial tear on my left shoulder. Christian Francis is my physiotherapist. After three months of treatment, my shoulder is almost back to normal except a bit of stiffness. I have fully recovered and I am able to function completely with all of my daily tasks, after a full knee replacement done at the beginning of November and 5 weeks of therapy. Gus teaches well, motivates me to work hard, and is very knowledgeable. He is very funny and makes the workout less painful with his humour. Lifemark is doing all that they can to maintain a safe environment during COVID-19. They give a new mask to every single patient who walks through their doors and they sanitize every surface and all of the equipment that a patient touches. I appreciate all that they do to maintain safety. I have recommended Lifemark at Leslie and Sheppard to two other people because I am happy with their service. I will be back to LIfemark when I have my other knee replaced next year. I couldn’t be happier with my results and I attribute that to Gus.

All the staff at Lifemark Physiotherapy Leslie & Sheppard are friendly and helpful and are committed to helping the patients to get back to the point where they can live their daily lives without pain. They care about their patients. The treatments include physiotherapy sessions and massages, (and a psychological trauma assessment/counselling on how to make the necessary adjustments to the way you work if you were injured during a car accident.) My physiotherapist was Viatcheslav Blokhin, my kinesiologist was Konstantinos Brouzas, my massage therapists were Nooshin Salahshour and Alan Diong, and my occupational therapist was Mallory Rotman. They were excellent and instrumental in helping me to recover from my back injury suffered from my car accident. I cannot thank them enough. Professional services provided by my main physiotherapist Marius Diculescu, successfully backed up by Hamed Pardehshenas during Marius's vacation. The kinesiologists were also nice and carrying, the appointments were on time, reminders for appointments were conveniently sent via messages. Marius is very knowledgeable and open, describing not only the injury but explaining the cause of it as well. We have worked on healing the injury and also on eliminating the cause. The therapy was adjusted according to the progression of the healing. Thanks to the therapy, I am now injury free and more knowledgeable about my body.

My experience here was life changing. I came in with a leg that was surgically reconstructed and with an ACL repair. I couldn't bend my leg and I was in crutches to walk. 14-16 weeks later I was just starting to jog on the treadmill. I wanna thank Gus/Hamed you 2 were excellent.

I've had a pretty bad, recurring ankle injury that required treatment and one of my friends highly recommended this clinic. Glowing reviews are so cliche, but I gotta say that I have been very impressed by Marius and his kinesiologists (Gus and Brad): like most doctors and care providers, they are very friendly, professional and courteous, but I could tell right away that Marius stands out from the rest. I think it was his incredible attention to detail, his patience in understanding and analyzing all the particulars related to my injury, to best diagnose it and treat it. This was not at the first visit only, but every single time he would adjust the treatment to the very particular needs and evolution of my injury. The recovery has been very fast, and could have been even faster if I actually did all the homework exercises as told :-). I now continue working with Marius on another chronic injury that I've completely written off as not curable, but I already see improvements after a few sessions with Marius and his team. Thank you!

Got very disappointed in the philosophy of this office or at least in some individuals. You would think they work for the client, but beware, some of them snitch for the insurance companies. If you are getting treatment after a MVA, remember not to tell them anything about your previous health history. They befriend you and then try to find out everything your insurance company wants to know in order to cut your benefits. This conduct is revolting, it generates mistrust and is even detrimental to your recovery. Will never go there again!!

The team here was really great. I had a back injury and came in feeling demoralized as it didn’t seem like anyone in the past many years could help me understand what was going on and what to do about it. My physiotherapist, Christian, and kinesiologists, Robin and Bradley were very patient, sensitive, encouraging and careful to ensure that they were accommodating the nuances of my particular injury during my sessions with them. I really appreciated that Christian took the time to answer all my questions and explain the injury and potential for recovery as well as realistic coping methods. (The funny office banter also made for a low-stress atmosphere.) Thank you very much!

I attended this location after being hit by a car as a pedestrian. The schedules were accommodating with evening and weekend appointments. Slava worked with me over several months to help with mainly back and neck pain. I was able to improve on and manage my injuries to meet my goal from before the accident of running a 10km race. I also had several great experiences with Nooshin and Kelly for massage. I would definitely recommend this location. Everyone at the facility is welcoming and kind.

Thought I had posted a review. The staff here; from the receptionist to the physiotherapists are extremely welcoming from first contact. At the time I had started going to Lifemark, I had been secluded to my home for almost a year. I was anxious about going as id get sick travelling. Upon the minute of entering Lifemark, I've felt at home. The receptionists are very kind and empathetic. Marius has been treating and overseeing my condition for the past few months. When I felt all hope was lost, I have been having slow but promising progress. I am no longer house bound and am able to commute in short distance. Not a major deal for most but this has opened the world up to me once again.

After a car accident, I came to this location for treatment. Marius is an exceptional physiotherapist and really works with you to help you get better. He is personable, professional, knowledgeable and has genuine interactions with his patients. Uma is professional, knowledgeable, calm, and patient. She is very experienced in her field of pelvic health so is extremely aware of her patients minute body language to her treatment in such a sensitive area. Jason is a knowledgeable RMT and is amazing at targeting exactly the areas needed for treatment.

I had my final release session this morning. What an amazing place this is and I am referring to the Lifemark Leslie and Finch location. A little about my issue: I had to have my hip replaced end of November with a titanium component. This place was recommended to me as one of several options. I had OHIP coverage for 6 weekly sessions I believe. While I am not perfect with some healing left to do on my own, I feel substantial improvement. I am not really using my cane anymore. I came in a few weeks after my y surgery and met with Marius for induction and he passed me over to Gus for weekly physio and then today I’ve met with Marius again for a final assessment. Happy to report I am healing well and got my completion diploma. Both, Marius and Gus are amazing at their work. They’re both very warm people. When Gus first started working with me I was cursing quite a bit but it didn’t even phase this guy. He just kept helping me and emailing my weekly exercises. To sum it up I am so grateful for this healing experience. This place is very clean, airy, professional and friendly. Thank you Marius and Gus for everything. I highly recommend this place for post operation physio for knee and hip replacements and whatever else they do there.

Lifemark is by far the best physiotherapy clinic I've been to. I had quite bad lower back injury due to bad ergonomic at work and I've had about 3-4 PTs but they were all bit soft or not challenging enough. Probably it has to do with better assessment of patient and practice of knowledge. Hammed is great PT and the clinic hygiene is bang on too.
