Avoid if your partner has any mental issues. I was constantly thrown under the bus and blamed for many things that I did not do. They constantly try to convince you you are a "Sex Addict" -even though I looked at pornography only a handful of times, but someone now I am "addicted to sex". They let my partner continue to manipulate and gaslight me and not hold her accountable for anything that she did -all because she was "the victim". Steven and Jennifer are nice enough, but they ARE NOT psychologists -they are social workers. They have no idea about mental issues other than addiction and they cannot spot other problems that may be contributing to partner strife. It wasn't until I met with an actual registered psychologist that I got the help I needed. They informed me that I absolutely was not an "Addict" of any kind. The issues I was experience were very simple -I needed to remove the "victim" (aka the narcissist) from my life. Problem solved, no thanks to Lifestar, all they did was empower and validate my narcissistic partner.
