Surly service and non-refundable products. Got girlfriend a massage as a surprise, she didn't want to go. Wouldn't refund the certificate.
Very clean and relaxing environment. The RMT was knowledgeable and professional. She listened to my concerns and worked on those areas. She also taught me a couple stretches to do at home.
I really enjoy this massage therapy clinic, it is close to home and I’ve been a client for several massage therapists there, I find them to all be patient and respectful, and I’ve had no issues with requesting amounts of pressure to be increased or decreased. I attend appointments regularly and have never had an issue with cancellations and find the clinic to be very accommodating with booking. They also direct bill which makes insurance a million times easier!
It was my first time at Massage addicts and I had THE best massage of my life !!!. It was amazing and I can’t wait for my next one. The place is great and very clean. The rooms are peaceful, and the music is very relaxing, like a spa. I injured my right shoulder and Melanie, the Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) knew exactly how to apply just the right amount of pressure in the right place. Extremely knowledgeable and very professional. You can easily book online and don’t let the word membership scare you away. Check it out. You may find you really won’t want to leave. The only risk is wanting to stay. I highly recommend Massage Addict. Don’t go to any other place. This is the best !!!
A corporate chain for massage? Hard pass. While there are *some* talented RMTs here, it's like comparing a home-cooked meal to terrible fast food. Corporations don't care about their employees, their quality, what goes into their training and like most, exploit their employees to make the chain richer and this is apparent at Massage Addict. Please do yourself a favour and find someone who is independent with a good rep, places like this need to disappear.
First time getting massage. Booked appointment online and came in 15 minutes early to go over everything. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Thanks Jessica for going easy on me when the pressure became too intense. Lots of communication between myself and RMT about comfort level. Next appointment already booked
Very friendly staff and easy online booking system.
I was hoping the reviews weren't true. I booked an appointment. The morning of they called to cancel. The therapist was sick. Seems like sick employees is the norm for this place.
I get reflexology with Bernadette. She is outstanding and the reflexology treatment is a MUST try if you haven't before.
My biggest complaint is the high turnover rate here. It seems every time you get a RMT you really like, they end up leaving :( However, what I love about Massage Addicts is that the prices are good, it's a great booking process online, and they are all super friendly and professional.
Professional staff, easy to book online, registered therapists. Clean and quiet.
Some good registered massage therapists but some bad ones. Often have last-minute openings, but I only book here if no other options.
Very professional, direct bills to insurance company
It's a great place if you are looking for something relaxing. It's fairly expensive. I wanted a deep tissue massage and specified it both taking the appointment and on the day of and ended for the 3rd time with a re relaxation massage. Not quite what I was looking for.
Sarah Pardy provided an experience that is hard to put into words. She listened to my issues and then created an approach that targeted areas I didn't even realize were the problem. I am fairly body aware and thought I had an idea on facia release but this was the BEST session I have had for some of my neck/back/shoulder tension out of all of the services I do (Chiro, osteo, physic) - I will go back and I loved that she gave me some of my own release techniques I could do. This was not the 'traditional' lay of your front & have someone work your shoulders - this was PURE release of tension. Thank you Sarah.
The room I was had lots of air circulation and was a little too cold for the only naked person in the room. I suggest a heating pad on the pillow and warming the massage oil, and of course bringing up the temperature a bit. Otherwise pleasant experience, thanks!
Mosquitoes were very hungry, so remember repellent. But the trail was pretty
I had my first visit with Massage Addict and will say it will be my last. The massage therapist that provided my 60 minute massage (although a very sweet woman) was all over the place! When she started my massage she spent a good 20 minutes asking me about my life. When her hands finally were on my back long enough, I could barely feel them except for how cold they were. She would start with a shoulder then to a leg then to arm, then to leg, leaving some areas exposed and not covered by the blanket. I was seriously confused on her process!! As I have had many massages throughout my life, I know therapist have a routine they follow. This was not!!! At one point she was massaging my head with one hand in the same spot for much too long, while she told me a story with her other hand. She realized she was babbling on, and laughed and said "oops, I do that a lot". I was so uncomfortable and felt so awkward. During the massage I asked her a few times to put more pressure as I couldn't feel it. She said she would but that never happened. Near the end, she massaged one foot on the right and one hand on the left, totally forgetting the others. Needless to say, I couldn't wait for it to be finished. It felt like this was the first client this therapist has ever had and was maybe nervous or not trained properly. When I was done, I went to pay and asked the receptionist "Did you book me in with a registered therapist or a relaxation massage technician?". She replied "We are all registered". Good to know as I won't be back if that's the level of "registered" you want for your clientele.
Brittany R. Is an amazing Deep Tissue RMT, she is super friendly, and hits all of the right spots! My husband and I have been going to her for years and have been committed members 1 - 2 times a month. I have also been to the Reflexologist Bernadette and she is also very good and makes you feel so relaxed. They also direct bill to your insurance so you dont have to pay ahead, which is awesome.
Very hard time getting appointment in there. did have a great message
Terrible, 5 day of cancelations in a row, I live 45 mins away, didn't find out my appointment was canceled till I showed up.
I would rate this place as 1 or less. I mentioned i am having neck tension and shoulder pain. However, nothing was done to make me feel better. I was not even provided with full body massage. Apart from that, i was late only 5 mins. Yet received only 44 mins massage and paid for 1 hr massage. The therapist was polite but I didn’t like her work, i was expecting that it would be something professional. Wont recommend it to anyone. Just waste of time and money.
So easy and convenient for taking advantage of and optimising benefits. The staff is wonderfully friendly, so if your nervous or have never had a massage before they will walk you through the process. And of course my masseuse is great at identifying problem areas and offers helpful tips to help loosen up between visits.
Great service, I've been dealing with a back injury and massage addicts has helped so much
I went back after 4 years. The service had deteriorated significantly. I parked my car at 11:10 and my "one-hour" massage was done by 12:09. when I asked about it, they said the one hour is from the time you come through the door! For me, it included taking winter boots off, filling in questionnaire, wait time, and getting changed in the massage room! There were signs to remove boots, which is understandable, however they did not provide slippers and there was some salt and water strains/ drops on the floor! The staff were polite and professional, however the attitude made you feel like you are at a doctor office for an appointment, rather than a spa for a relaxing and pampered experience!
Clean, and comfortable. Staff were easy to communicate with, and very calming
I have been a member there for at least 3 years They all do a great job
Great service and friendly staff.
I had an amazing 1 hour massage session with Tabitha today. She listened to my concerns and focused exactly on the parts that needed massaging the most. She knew the amount of pressure to apply and I felt so relieved after the session. Thank you Tabitha... very much appreciated. Thanks to the friendly lady at the reception as well. I highly recommend this place.
Called left message and phone number 2 weeks ago. No response
I got my introductory massage for 49.99 with Shannan, she was amazing! She vocally walked me through what my first massage would entail beforehand and made me feel extremely comfortable. I have never felt so pampered in my life. 100% worth the money. Treat yourself to some wellness, you won’t regret it!
I went in for a massage with aches in my back, shoulders, hip. I floated out, one hour later. No ache anywhere and felt better than I have in months. Highly recommended!
Beware, if the receptionists book you for one time and tell you another you will be billed for a missed appointment. I had 2 times where I showed for my scheduled appointment and was told the therapist was sick and I live 30min out of town. I also had an appointment cut short because the therapist had to leave because she was throwing up. I didn't complain because things happen but when I was billed for a missed appointment because I was told the wrong day I was not happy. It is so difficult to get appointments in the evenings and weekend too because they don't have enough staff and allow people to book as many as they want ahead then expect you to go on a cancellation list that they don't call you from. The manager wasn't very quick to return my calls either. Don't sign up for a membership you can go to a regular massage therapist and not have to commit to once a month appointments that you can't get scheduled due to lack of appointment times available .
So far disappointed, first massage booked, got a call to cancel it the morning of, which I understand people get sick etc etc, but no offer of compensation for the time I lost at work, yet if I had cancelled the morning of, their policy states I would have to pay the full price.
I Had a great massage! At first I thought an hour long massage is a long massage, but the time went so fast. I have a lot of pain in my neck and the day I went in for my massage my neck was hurting more than usual. I told Eva, the RMT, about the pain so she spent quite a while focusing on my neck area. By the time the massage was over all the pain in my neck was gone. On a normal day I would have taken pain medication, but I decided not to that day to see how helpful the massage might be. I was surprised how much it helped. Also, the stress relief for the rest of my body was worth far more than the price of the massage! I will be a return customer for sure.
I had my first visit yesterday since 2018 and it was by far my best Massage Addict experience. Reanna was awesome and had great technique. She was very professional and courteous and I feel loose as a goose today! The receptionist is very friendly as well. I'd recommend this spot if you're looking for a very therapeutic experience!
Absolutely amazing experience. I got the hour long introduction massage for $50 and I'm seriously considering the year long membership. The atmosphere is beautiful, clean and relaxing. It's a $100 experience for $50 and it's incredible. Maria, my massuese heated the bed, and worked with a large heatpack throughout the massage, which is SO relaxing. I fell asleep multiple times. She gave me a thorough assessment and worked on my trouble areas, taking out knots in the gentlest way possible, though I usually need very deep, painful massages to remove them. She even gave me recommendations for how to use massage techniques at home for trouble areas. AND to top it off, I'm not even sore the next day, and the pain and tension I had for weeks have all but gone. TLDR: an over the top exceptional massage experience for $50 which is usually $100. Seriously considering the year long Membership
My massage was a gentle rubbing of my skin. There was no skill required to what I received. Very overpriced at $110.
Had a great relaxing massage by Dillon this morning. Every visit is worth every penny ;)
Was on time, there was paper work to be done and we started 10 mins after. My massage was supposed to be 1 hr (I was a first time client) it was 45mins. Ive had tons of massages else where and feel I know the difference between a relaxation massage and a RMT massage. Mine was a relaxation massage. Her hands were very cold, and not enough oil or pressure was applied. She seemed rush. The music was very low making it kind of awkward we could hear my tummy rumbling. When we flipped over to do my neck my blankets were not adjusted and my feet were sticking out blanketless getting really cold. I attempted to adjust and didn't get any help. The neck massage was really light and she failed to get the front and back of my neck. She just focused on the sides. Upon paying a tipping option appears , this was also very uncomfortable. I was charged for 1 hr and received 45 mins of massage time. Would not recommend.
very clean great staff excellent at their profession
An amazing therapist works there, Hannah. Go see her is you are having any issues.. she is good at what she does.
Very good staff , timely and thorough, pleasant atmosphere with no forced chit chat.
My wife told me her one hour message ended in 45min.. not impressed
One of the worst masssages i have ever had. Theres a sign that says keep your phone turned off and all i heard for the hour massage was 2 woman talking and the crinkling of the therapist gloves. There was no pressure to the massage. I can get more out of an acupuncture clinic. there was no questions of pressure or anything. It was also supposed to be an hour and i was dressed and done under the time. For a first time visit that will be a last.
A great place to get massage therapy. The RMT's are very professional and well versed in their knowledge. Front desk staff are efficient and pleasant to deal with.
