This was the deepest massage I have ever had in my life. Tanis is the strongest lady I have ever met. The power that comes from her is just incredible. If you like deep tissue massages then this is the lady you need! She also does many different types of massages as well. I will go back 100% I actually have another session already booked. I WAS SO HAPPY WITH HER I WANTED TO REFER MY FIANCE AND MY SISTER TO HER FOR MASSAGES SINCE THEY GET MASSAGES REGULARLY, BUT AFTER CHERYL RUINED THE EXPERIENCE FOR ME I DECIDED NOT TO USE THIS PLACE ANYMORE WHICH MAKES ME SAD CAUSE I REALLY THOUGHT I FOUND MY PERFECT MASSAGE THERAPIST...AMELIA WAS HAVING DIFFICULTY WITH THE PAYMENT SO SHE CALLED CHERYL FOR HELP, CHERYL CAME DOWN AND STARTED YELLING AT HER RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME AND ANOTHER CUSTOMER THAT WAS THERE, SAYING MY INSURANCE ISN'T WORKING AND I NEEDED TO PAY WITH MY OWN THEN THEN APPLY TO GET IT BACK. First time here but I was having issues with my right hamstring while driving and a bit of pain when I ran. Sheila figured it out pretty quickly and it turned out it was my hip and not hamstring. It's not 100% yet but it's on the mend and doesn't hurt during my runs thanks to her advice of stretching out my hips and adductors. She definitely knows her stuff as well understanding the runner physiology which is what I was looking for! Highly recommend.

I didn't want to post a bad review and would've rather just been contacted by the clinic, but I didn't get a response after filling out the emailed survey. I had my first massage here a few weeks ago and it was a terribly awkward experience and not what I expected for a massage. I'm a student and wanted a massage to destress, so paying this much for something that I wasn't fully satisfied with just doesn't sit right with me. If I had a chance to explain the situation I would appreciate that!

The massage therapist did a good job, but it wasn’t the best experience I’ve had. The building is loud and creaky and I had my massage in a huge room with an open window on the second floor. It felt weird and exposed and the massage therapist appeared to have forgotten to turn the music on until about 10 minutes in, then abruptly left without saying anything to go turn it on. Overall not bad, I just have been to other places that are more relaxing and have set a higher bar for me.

I had a good massage here, helped with my neck pain and the mixture of cupping and massage was great. I sadly enjoy DT, and didn't think to tell my RMT to lessen the pressure, as I enjoyed it. The next day I had elbow bruising on my spine, glutes, and shoulder blade. Minus that one thing, she was professional, asked me how the pressure was and subsequently did help my issue I came in with. I will go back, just need to have time and let my bruises go away!!!

Sheila Carnell at Jasper 124 Massage Therapy Inc. has been taking care of me with amazing monthly massages for 2 years now. She is one of the most talented massage therapists I have ever had, and her technique is such that I never feel bad the next day. I love the convenient location (I live downtown), the old character house and the individual rooms that look over a forested area at the back - always feels like a little get away. The online booking system and choices of times are great. The owner, Dawn, has always been very responsive whenever I've called, and when things were opening and closing due to COVID. Can't say enough about how good Sheila is - she assesses me quickly at the start of each massage while we chit-chat for a few minutes, and then gives me a thorough and professional massage - fixing up the areas that are hurting and out of alignment - I go away feeling thankful for her and renewed every time.

1 star for this visit. This is not a reflection of Tanis is she is amazing as always. This is a reflection of how the owner does not show respect for her staff or the clientele to not have a proper HVAC system for this type of business. To offer a service in a facility that is hotter inside than outside at +35 degrees was not a pleasant experience for Tanis or myself.

Located in a convenient location at the west end of Jasper, the staffs are very professional, and the new location (literally one house over) is well renovated, clean and comfy. There are parking stalls right outside, and very convenient even if you travel by bus (1 min walk to bus stop). Tanis is amazing, and most of the staffs are awesome too. Online booking is very easy and I love the text reminders before appointments! Highly recommend!
