I aways have satisfaction when I have therapy at Higher Health, whether its massage or acupuncture, it really helps me get back on track with my health. I recently had a deep tissue massage with Naomi and it was great. I have been dealing with neck pain for over a year now and I have had relief since Tues morning. I would definitely recommend getting treatments here. Krystal is also great with acupuncture if you don't mind a few needles, lol. Massage and acupuncture go hand in hand, thanks to Higher Health for continuing your top level care. Update for 2021, my massage therapy has been taken up by Paige and I'm truly happy for the treatment that she provides. I would recommend seeing her if you want deep tissue massage, Cheers

She is often booked up because she is that good, but the staff are excellent at squeezing you in or getting you on a wait list!

Krystal was awesome with my 11 year old son. Very patient and accommodating as he was a little nervous. She took the time to find out all of the medical history and allowed us to freely voice any concerns or issues we had been having with my sons health. She also suggested other forms of therapy for my son, thats she does not provide, showing that his overall well being was her main concern. It was by chance I had an appointment with Chey. My husband offered his appointment to me back in January and I took it! I wanted to try someone new after going to higher health for many years. I have seen Chey every month since then. I am 39 weeks pregnant now and finished my last appointment with her. She is an excellent massage therapist who is professional and know what she is doing. She always made me feel comfortable and I've never had the same massage twice. Each visit she changes it up and I leave feeling refreshed! I cannot wait to have my post natal massage with her!

I went for a 50 min massage 2 days ago with Janet. I specifically told her that my main areas of concern were my back and neck. But she could work on my legs too. I've had several massages, in various cities, and the therapist was able to work on those areas (and more) within 50 mins. Competent ones manage their time by using a clock or phone. Janet spent almost all the time working on my lower body. She did work on my neck a little. I did tell her at the end that I was disappointed that she didn't work on my back. She said next time. I thought of not paying, but this clinic makes you put a credit card on file (most other clinics don't make it mandatory). I didn't have time to complain as I had another apptmnt to go to. I called after that to speak to the manager. I was told that Amanda, the owner, would call me. She didn't. I called back again yesterday morning. That girl spoke to Amanda, who eventually called me. She was abrasive and refused to refund half my money, which is all I asked. I also suggested another girl work on my back for 20-30 mins before I drove out of town. That was the reason why I booked the massage, before a long drive and 2 flights today. Amanda is like many business onwers in this town. Their spouse works in the oilpatch and they start or buy a business for something to do, with no experience or skill in customer relations. So be forewarned! There may be good therapists here, but no problem resolution!

Very nice place. Good therapists. Parking is unavailable at busy times which results in awkward street parking and a icy walk. I love that they have Rocky Mountain soap brand. The massage prices are quite high, and they have recently started charging an additional $15 any time the therapists decide to use cups. I wouldn’t mind this if the cupping was done outside the massage time, but I’ve already paid a high price for the massage and they are taking time out of it to do the cupping, so I feel it’s already paid for. Overall a decent place, but should my therapist leave I will be looking for other places.

It loosened some really deep tight muscles in my back, shoulders and legs. If you are on the fence for acupuncture I recommend you give it a try.

Hi, I have mixed feelings about the clinic. The yoga teachers there are amazing. Some of the massage therapists are good--its really an individual thing on what kind of pressure/type of massage you like. But I haven't been too happy about the acupuncture from the owner. She doesn't have the best bed side manner. Most times it just felt like a business transaction from her instead of giving me the "I care about your health" vibe.

I love how she uses the perfect amount of pressure to work out the knots but never uses an insane amount of pressure to the point that I am in pain or uncomfortable like other places I have gone in the past. I always leave her sessions feeling great and am so thankful for her exceptional service! Just had acupuncture with Krystal and was thoroughly impressed with the treatment I received. It was my first time trying acupuncture and Krystal took the time to identify what my concerns were and carefully explained the treatment. Better have a good excuse for having to cancel with short notice. I guess having to fly out of province for my sick 85 year old mother wasn't good enough. I still got charged for no show even though I called and left a message within a hour of me finding out about my mom.I won't ever be booking through this place again
