Nicole has quite literally changed my life. I came to her seeking an effective way to break patterns in relationship that were no longer serving me. My last relationship had taken quite a bite out of me and I was motivated to do the work. My symptoms at the time of seeing her were panic attacks, a feeling of leaving my body, disinterest in food, difficulty coping with intense feelings and other unpleasantness. She was recommended to me by a trusted friend. After working together for about 9 months I am happy to report I have a plethora of practical and effective coping tools to help me deal with immediate discomfort. I also have an in-depth understanding of how I came by my patterns and most importantly, how to break them. Today I have much reduced physical and mental discomfort and a confidence in my ability to heal that I didn’t have before. Nicole is up to date on the latest training in her field, exceptionally compassionate, intuitive, competent and skilled in her field. After years of coping in my own way with complex trauma due to family issues I sought help from a therapist. At the time I was very overwhelmed and unable to regulate my emotional state. Although I was a willing participant I wasn't getting the relief I was seeking. I became emotionally exhausted and decided to look elsewhere for help. Having recognized that I was suffering from PTSD I did some research into treatment options. I saw that EMDR therapy had been successful so I sought out a therapist with this training. My sessions with Nicole began just over a year ago. Nicole recognized right away that I was exhausted, overwhelmed, and very sensitive due to the emotional disregulation. She took a very gentle approach with me and worked with me for some time to teach me methods I could access to calm my mind and body. Once I had these resources in place we dealt with my trauma issues through EMDR therapy. Today I feel that I have gained resiliency and am well resourced to face the challenges of a sometimes difficult family life. I have a clearer sense of myself and my own needs and as such am better prepared for the ups and downs in my life. Nicole's thoughtful and insightful approach guided me to a place where I now feel safe and strong. She has my highest regard and recommendation.

As someone who has strongly believes in the benefit and the practical need for insightful counseling I've worked with different counselors in my life journey. A couple of years ago when I was tilted left of center and needed a reset I was fortunate to have a recommendation from a friend leading me to Nicole's office. She was a breath of fresh air!
