CMHA helped me when I was at my lowest points of depression. They helped me turn my life around and realize that someone out there always cares.

Arden Balon

The staff there are really friendly, but the members there drive people away from the good and fun activities they have going on.

They help you more than doing it yourself

Mike Ford

Their employees will gaslight you if they don't believe your health issues are real. Otherwise I would have actually recommended them, so if you go be wary that your mental health issues aren't real to them.

Contacted them in full crisis... no where else to turn. They sent me an envelope full of useless pamphlets that I tossed in the blue box. Horrible. We need a centralized location that can offer treatment and support for people in crisis.

Last night about 10:00 pm I called the Crisis line. I was having some difficulty dealing with some family issues and needed someone to talk to. I got some older sounding woman and she didn't seem to be interested in talking to me at all. I got the impression I interrupting something she was more interested in. She was rude, blaming, judgemental and all around nasty. She didn't ask about my well being, my safety or whether I was suicidal. She was no help at all. Thank you, CHMA. I felt worst after I got off the phone. I'll never call the crisis line ever again or bother with CMHA. I have had medical professionals tell me they wouldn't recommend this organization.
