Such a beautiful spot! On our way in we stopped at the waterfront and saw several whales! We saw more in the morning from the side room, sat on the couch and ate our breakfast looking out on the ocean. A very comfortable stay for our family of 4 adults.

We stayed at Marbella Cottage for five nights in June 2021. We are a family of four, including two boys, 12 and 9. The house was perfect. Beyond perfect. Lots of space. Very clean and bright. The beds were comfortable and there were lots of extra pillows and blankets if you need them. There was also tons of extra towels. The half bathroom on the main level was a welcome bonus as you normally don’t have that in older homes. There is a washer and dryer, with detergent supplied. The sunroom was a delight as the sun streamed in through the row of windows in the afternoon and evenings so we sat and enjoyed a drink in the sun as we looked over the ocean. The house is located on a point, and there is ocean on three sides. You can see the ocean from every single window in this house, both floors. This was my favourite thing about this house! The garden is huge and was a great area for the kids to play. The house is situated between three beaches, all facing different directions, so you could pick the beach that best suited the wind! And the beaches were only a minute stroll from the front door. Two of the beaches face the sunset! The house is also in a quiet area, on a dead end road, so there is very little traffic, making it relatively safe for the kids. The location is perfect - quiet area, three beaches, walking distance to Bonavista Bicycle Picnics, Old Day’s Pond Boardwalk, The Matthew Legacy, and restaurants and cafes on Church Street. We had one tiny issue and Randy was over within minutes to check it out (turns out it wasn’t an issue after all). We will definitely rent this beautiful vacation home again!
