We've got all the feddbacks of real people who are consuming the products and services of SkiBig3 Adventure Hub (Psychologist) near Banff (Canada).
At this moment this business gets a score of 4.2 over 5 and this score was based on 80 reviews.
As you can see its rating is high, and it's based on a very large number of opinions, so we can think that the score is very accurate. If many people have bothered to value when they've done well, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually stop to give feddbacks when these are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...

Great service, friendly staff. We had no reservations, just walked up and they had a decent selection of e bikes. They let us book for 2 hours and call to extend our booking to 4 hours if we decided to stay out longer. Beautiful views along the Banff Legacy trail and Bow valley parkway (closed to traffic in the summer) So much fun and less physically demanding than a regular bike. Highly recommend
Friendly, knowledgeable service and a wide selection of rental equipment. I rented some high-performance carve skis for a few days and they were fantastic. Easy-to-find location on Banff Ave.
Centrally located in Banff, this is your one-stop-shop for all things ski & snowboard. Purchase lift tickets to Mt. Norquay, Lake Louise Ski Resort, and Sunshine Village, ski & snowboard rentals and book snow school lessons
Brilliant service!!
Great staff, great experience all around. Rented for adults and a 3 year old and all worked out great!
Joanne was super helpful in picking out my new gloves ????
I understand a $5 or $10 charge for a scratch. But I was charged $30 for a scratch...on a rental! I skied 3 Canadian greens. I'm obviously a beginner with the beginner ski package. I'm obviously not doing anything crazy or skiing anywhere dangerous. We'll never rent from then again.
Lots of great back country gear and other items
(Translated) It seems expensive.. Snowboard, boots, top and bottom of the board suit, a total of 175 Canadian dollars a day lift ticket.. BACTRAX also compare prices and go... Somehow, BACTRAX seems to be a little cheaper...
Great service and store... We did not buy any gear.. only the ski pass.. the assistance from both representatives was outstanding.. Thanks for all the help.
(Translated) Excellent attention by jeanine (hope i wrote it right) good prices, everything very good and many options (Original) Excelente atencion por parte jeanine (hope i wrote it right) buenos precios, todo muy bien y muchas opciones
Got my lift tickets and rental skis from here! The staff were excellent, and all were incredibly nice! Amazing service!
Service is slow.
You have to get here for big3 ticket
A one stop shop for ski hire and lift passes, they also have a shop onsite for small essentials gloves, neck warmers etc. Reasonably priced and easy to find, will use again.
(Translated) I used their shuttle to go to Sunshine Village in January 2022 and back. As we were the last to board on the outward journey, the ski locker was already full. I managed to put my skis between two other pairs but we had to put the board on top of all the pairs of skis which had the effect of scratching it quite a bit. We saw that some buses had individual wooden lockers, but ours did not. What a shame! It would have protected our equipment more. On the way back, the bus we wanted to take filled up with people in the line just in front of us. So we had to wait for the next bus which arrived 20 minutes later than the initially scheduled time. Waiting all this time at -25 ° C with our clothes wet was not the most pleasant experience. However, the drivers are careful, the boarding points are very well identified, the temperature on board is comfortable and so are the buses.
Poor customer service and poor selection. Went in for a 3-day ski rental during a trip, I asked for advice on which ski to try and the first employee said "I don't ski, and don't know anything". All I could think to myself was, "why are you working in a ski rental shop with zero knowledge of the product". 10 minutes later, another employee came by and suggested a ski. Then a "manager" struggled for 10-15 minutes to setup the binding onto my boot. I had previously demo'd several ski's at a local hill and the technician at the demo was able to set the bindings correctly within a minute for every single ski i tried out. After riding for the day I was not happy with first ski, and since their selection wasn't great, they didn't have anything else I wanted to try out. I had purchased a 3 day rental, and I asked for a refund, they refused. You're better off renting from Ultimate Sports up the road, better selection and competent employees's.
Rented an ebike today for 4 hours. Friend staff. Returned it 15 min late. No problem
Great deals, great staff.
Staff is very courteous! However, they only rent Salomon equipment and are quite pricey. 2 day's rental of Salomon Q85 cost 100 dollars. This is demo-level price for a ski costing less than half the price of a QST. And they don't offer half-day rental pricing even if you pick up an noon same day. Aside from this, loved the shop.
Awesome crew. Booked lift tickets months in advance and they were at my hotel upon check in. Also did a guided tour, we had Nathan, showed us around the three ski fields. Absolutely recommend this to get familiar with the mountains. They have a range of activities to do (if boarding or skiing isn't your thing), i enquired about a ice climb and while they didn't do that, they provided me with details about someone who did, fantastic. Use them, you won't be disappointed.
Great staff, great rentals, easy upgrades, full range of winter activity gear.
(Translated) A shop in the center of Banff where you can buy ski tickets, ski and board rentals. We also handle many related products.
Good place to buy tickets to beat the lines. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Service was OK, we tried to cancel our bike reservations but they refused. So we were forced to pay for them. I would be careful when booking as they are final sale, therefore I would be careful buying stuff aswell. Other than that, pretty painless process for renting bikes. Easy to return and very friendly. So if you're sure, go for it!
Super friendly and helpful staff! :)
We rented electric bikes here and were super pleased with the selection of bikes, the performance of them, and the help we were given to find a good route. The bikes felt pretty speedy to us (but we had never ridden e-bikes before), and they made the ride up Tunnel Mountain Road a piece of cake. Helmets and locks are included too, so you’re able to stop at places along the way. We’d totally do these again, as we got to see parts of Banff we’ve never seen despite having been there dozens of times.
Great spot to pick up rentals and your ski passes for the local mountains.
Great service
My son rented snow gear from the skihub including a snowboard and even paid the optional damage protection. He had a bad fall and discovered the board was broken, we have GoPro footage of the fall and its still uncertain if the board broke and caused the fall or the the fall was the reason the board broke. When he returned the board, he was informed that he must pay for the damage as the insurance only covers scratches. 2 weeks later they debit the credit card with $238 for a new board!!! What a rip off, the board has been hired out many times yet we must buy a brand new board. We pay damage protection yet its not worth anything. Beware of these guys as it appears that they dont hold any of the risks!!!!!
(Translated) Always worth a trip (Original) Immer eine Reise wert
(Translated) It is a good place for gathering information on ski resorts. I got free tickets for beer after I gone through all SkiBig 3.
Awesome staff. Basically everything you'd want. Friendly, knowledgeable, considerate.
Incredible customer service and knowledge
The Adventure Hub was awesome! Shadow aka the Black Dog from The Black Dog Cafe met a new fury friend named Harley. She was very cute and polite. The staff was great too ????
Very helpful and kind staff!!! comfortable rentals, exactly what I needed
Horrible, the sellers do not respect customers. No one comes to advise us and when they come they are very rude!
Terrible for rentals; don't rent their ski boots as they may or may not adjust your bindings, depending on who is working. They did one day and then said they couldn't the next... customer service is no good. Go to Soul Ski and Bike.
Staff was very helpful
Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish. Highly recommended and will definitely use them again
Do not shop here. Staff are rude, Self righteous and had no clue about their products. Everything is over priced.
This was a great place to rent our e-bikes but the bikes are worn out and unfortunately not completely working was trying to bike back to hotel tonight and the head lamp and tail lamp was burnt out so wasn’t fun biking in dark unable to see! Tires were quite worn too but I get that they get used a lot! Ultimately I will definitely be back to ski big 3 this place is amazing hidden gem and if the lamps were working on bike it would have been five star experience !!
Great products and great people
Terrible customer service and the equipment was also sub par. My wife and I rented 2 paddle boards and mine didn't not hold air well. They failed to show us where the fins were in the bag so we made due without. If you can rent somewhere else I recommend that you do.
Partner and I rented full ski and snowboard setup for couple days and was impressed with the staff and their help and professionalism. Hotel pick up/drop off was a huge plus
There was confusion with a private ski lesson that I had booked through the Ski Hub desk at my hotel and Zach and Josh from the in town location went completely above and beyond to help me out. Their customer service prevented the day from being a total wash and the effort that they put in to find a solution was just so appreciated. It's rare to find people like this! A big thanks to Saturday's delivery driver--I didn't catch his name, but he was also instrumental in saving the day.
(Translated) If you go to a ski resort one day, just rent it at the ski resort. It is impossible to put it in the car because it is limited to 5 minutes in front of the shop. If you apply for a lift ticket online, you will be sent to Banff Hostel and you only need to buy a ticket.
Awesome place, awesome staff. Thanks for taking care of my family tonight!
We rented a couple of e-bikes that were new and worked well, but the bikes didn’t fit well. I am 5’3” and even though the seat height was right for my legs, the reach to the handle bars was really long. This made me lean so far forward creating a really uncomfortable sitting position on the hard sleek seat. To give my shoulders a rest, I often had to stand on the pedals or lean back and steer with just my fingertips. Before we left, my husband asked to have his handlebars raised and I mentioned the reach problem, but they weren’t able to make any adjustments. Hopefully they will get some different models next year.
