This place is a joke. Ive been trying to get help for years but their not interested in helping people. Last time i tried they told me they aren`t going to help unless i try to kill myself or someone else. Anyone i've talked to has had nothing but bad things to say. My wife was given horrible advice and now they just don't pick up the phone. Disgusting.

Stay away from the CMHA. Do not donate to these people. The mentally ill need real programs and services provided by properly trained and educated doctors and caretakers. Money at the CMHA is siphoned off for staff salaries and no one but staff wins. Please ask the Government for proper care for your loved ones and save your money for when they need help. Trying to pay the CMHA to do it for you is wasting money. Before giving it to them offer it to a homeless person. 100% return on investment

I was in a bad spot in life and was given an option to work with CMHA Woodstock and go through the Woodstock Mental health court. Its a long commitment but well worth it. If you are looking for some help Id recommend CMHA. I continue to work with CMHA very grateful for there support thanks.

I think majority of people feel this is an agency in which we can place our trust with highly skilled, trained & educated individuals however the very sad reality & truth is actually quite simple; We in Oxford County can NOT trust & put our faith in this agency!! CMHA Oxford puts on a good front, they appear to offer plenty of programs & welcome you when you walk in the door however visit for awhile & discover yourself what the staff, programming & atmosphere here are really like! I'm sure it won't take you long to realize the truth of this SHADY place & all it's negativity. No One would ever want nor think this is a positive place for someone with any kind of mental health challenge! (if you're looking to be put down or score drugs then by all means DO attend, you're in the right spot) CMHA Oxford tries to pride itself on offering a "Safe Place" but this is a serious problem here & there is nothing "Healthy" behind their walls. If you are in a state of crisis please go to Emerg because staff here will not be very helpful & be VERY cautious in with whom you speak!!! majority of the staff on the floor are NOT trained or educated, they are Volunteers. They do NOT have actual diplomas. Staff are VERY bad at gossip!! They discuss peoples personal details out loud on the main floor for anyone to hear which in my opinion is a HUGE breech of confidentiality, not to mention could be a potential serious safety issue & staff are more interested in discussing their own personal lives then helping someone in need.
