He don't care about his patients

Dr Malempati saved my life. I walked into his office for the first time a few years ago after being admitted into the psych ward and I was a mess. I was having hallucinations and delusions that people were trying to hunt me down and kill me, and at first I thought he was one of "them." Thus, it's safe to say our relationship didn't get off to a great start, but despite my arrogance and stubbornness he continued to work with me through that scary time and pulled me out of what was a very deep psychosis. A year after that I went into psychosis again, and he was able to change my meds and essentially save my life as I wouldn't have lasted much longer in that state. I must admit, even to this day I disagree with some of his methods, but without his medical assistance I wouldn't be here, or worse, I would be living in the scariest mental state imaginable. Now I've become a functional member of society, holding down a good job while studying at the university and my mind no longer attacks me like it used to. I would never tell him this, but he's an incredible psychiatrist and i'm lucky to have him.

Very rude and doesn't seem to care about his patients. Treats me like child even though I'm almost 30. Will never refill my prescriptions and only gives me one week at a time, even though I asked him to give me more. Talked to him about not being able to eat because of stress. He told me I was fat so he wasn't going to worry or help me with it. Makes me upset and cry everytime he calls for an appointment. He causes more problems than he fixes. IF HE IS YOUR PSYCHIATRIST, RUN AND DON'T LOOK BACK. He should have his license taken away.
