I have been going to Physio Plus a number of times for various running injuries over the past few years, and more recently for a sprained ankle. The physiotherapist who took care of me (Alia Pfeiffer) is very knowledgeable and professional. She always takes the time to explain the nature of the injury, showing on images what is going on. Through massage, accupuncture or ultrasound, and a series of exercises, she has helped eliminate pain and reduce inflammation. The facility at the CGC is spacious and clean, and they are well equiped for all sorts of exercises. The staff is friendly and as a bonus, they offer bilingual services. I would happily recommend their services.

Physio Plus has done it again! I can't speak highly enough of the courteous and professional staff at the clinic. I was struggling with sciatica so bad that it was regularly waking me up at night. My physio Alia immediately addressed the main pain and I was able to sleep again after the first session, we then worked on regaining my strength and after 5 sessions my sciatica is completely GONE!!!!!!!!!! I came to Thane at physio plus depressed with a lower back injury that prevented me from doing the sports I love for the summer. Over a number of sessions he treated me and got me doing strength exercises. He thoroughly explained what I needed to do and was available for all of my questions. I am so so so happy now pain free and back at my sports. As Thane said - I was a crab in a bucket and he got me out of that bucket. I absolutely recommend Physio Plus.

A week after I gave birth my SI joint became intensely irritated in which it left me unable to walk, or transfer without intense pain. With all this happening over Xmas, I knew it would be impossible to book in last minute with a Physiotherapist. I reached out to Thane in the event that he could work magic and get me in and he did. The therapists decided that dry needling would be best for me during this acute pain. After 3 sessions my mobility has returned and I am able to transfer (slowly) but without having to use a cane. I see hope on the horizon as each day I am getting stronger and it’s because of the miracle physiotherapist’s and Thane who have made this possible! I will never take walking for granted ever again!

I have seen two physiotherapists at physioplus for pre and post knee surgery physio at both the game centre and the downtown office. Both locations are highly professional with curteous staff. They were willing and able to accommodate my schedule for appointments. They got me back to running and cycling after double knee surgery. I doubt my recovery would have been as successful without their help.

I had injured myself and gone to an appointment there where the lady that worked on my shoulder she did good work and helped a bunch talked me through proper stretches to use to help improve my condition, however on my second appointment, I missed because of a family emergency and I couldn't commute from where I live to Whitehorse and with that misfortune I called to cancel my appointment however I wasn't outside the 24 hour cancel period, I did sign a waiver saying that I would forfeit some of the fee for the service of going to the physio however they really duped me when they charge me for a full $95 1 hour appointment, and never actually supplied me with any service at all, which raises my attention that physio plus is probably more into taking advantage of people who are injured and in a vulnerable position in there lives. People who are injured have limited income and under stress of life, soo..physio plus takes advantage of injured people who are on workers comp or not, it's the first time I've come across a company that is that greedy and that heartless two injured people, nor have I seen anybody ever charged a full price for zero service anyway I wasn't happy with their service and I hope I can help people look on what kind of service they're looking for.

I had torn my plantar fascia last August.Over the next 8 months I saw my doctor, an orthopedic surgeon, chiro, acupuncturist and finally came to see Thane at Physio Plus. After 8 months of horrible pain and being unable to put weight on my foot, he helped me with orthotics, treatment and excercises. I am now 95% pain free and am back running. I could not be happier with mt experience at Physio Plus!

Terrible experience here. The therapist said that they needed to write my treatment based on WCB assumptions rather than what I was going through. It delayed my recovery. Did not care about the well-being of patients.

The Physio Plus staff and facility are amazing. Thane in particular is incredible. He worked with my teenage son, who had a fairly severe issue with his shoulder. Surgery was not ideal for the situation, but physio was suggested. My son has now completed his physio with Thane, his shoulder issue is resolved and he now has the tools and knowledge of how to keep working and strengthening his muscles to help avoid the issue recurring. Everyone that I spoke with at Physio Plus was helpful, professional and kind. I highly recommend this facility if physiotherapy is needed.

After too much snow shoveling and then packing boxes I hurt my neck and shoulder. After suffering for 8 days I was able to get in to see a physiotherapist. David was able to alleviate a significant amount of the pain and gave me exercises to assist with recovery. He also gave me hope that I will heal sooner than I had thought possible. Brenda was excellent on the phone and managed to get me in on a cancellation. I can't recommend Physio Plus enough. They are professional and very effective.

I've had a bad back problem for quite a few years and have had multiple physiotherapists. The couple physiotherapists I've seen before coming to Thane would tell me exactly what YouTube videos told me. I came to Thane through a recommendation of a friend and have been seeing amazing results. From day 1 I noticed he was a lot more analytical with the initial assessment and told me things I didn't know I was doing habitually with my body. 10/10 would recommend #thane4pain

I agree with the other review 100%. Unfortunately, i too had this exact experience. I went here a number of years ago to be treated for an injury I sustained at work. The physiotherapist was more interested in doing what W.C.B. wanted them to do than treating the injury. They constantly asked me to do more than I was capable of doing at the time which left me in extreme pain. When you mentioned the increase in pain from the last physio session, you were told you were preventing yourself from healing and were non compliant. They ignored my medical imaging results and treated me for what they wanted to, not for what I needed to be treated for. A neurosurgeon I saw shortly after said I should have never been doing such extensive "treatment" for such an extensive and fresh injury. Its disappointing to see that I am not the only person that has had this experience with this business. Don't always trust people that say they are professionals, and that they know how to"fix" you. I know each persons experience can be different. However, several people I have met over the last years would write identical reviews to the ones you see here.
