After over 8 years of having massage treatment (more frequently/monthly in the last 2 years), and having tried out a variety of massage therapy places around town, I can honestly say that Knots is simply - the best - place I have been to. The quality of treatment I receive at Knots has exceeded any massage treatment I've had in my life. I feel like the therapists do an excellent job understanding my needs and then giving a very high quality treatment to address them. I wish I'd have spent the last several years of my life coming here, because I honestly just wasn't getting this quality of treatment anywhere else in town! The staff are awesome and they're all incredibly friendly and welcoming, and I also love how all their paperwork is done through email which is very convenient for my benefits submission! Got a customer for life in me for sure. Been telling everyone how awesome this place is!

I began treatment with Taylor Dirstein in November 2011, following a cycling injury and after being diagnosed with herniated discs in my lower lumbar. Right from the start, Taylor demonstrated a high level of interest in my recovery and went way beyond what I have received from previous RMTs and what I had ever expected! Outstanding treatment was not limited to the massage itself, as she had thoroughly researched and educated me on my specific condition, developed a treatment and recovery plan, and assigned targeted exercises to ensure a quick and successful recovery. I attribute my speedy recovery to Taylor's phenomenal work! Since 2011, at a time when I was unable to walk comfortably for more than 20 mins., let alone ride my bike, I have competed in several half marathon races and completed my first Triathlon, all with competitive results! I continue to see Taylor for maintenance support and consistently receive the same level of professionalism and outstanding treatment as day one!

I was nervous about massages and didn't know what to expect, but Taylor was SO incredibly welcoming, informative, and comfortable. It's such a calm and welcoming space, where you really feel like you're taken care of. I highly recommend Knots for anyone, especially those that are tentative about trying massage therapy! Taylor from Knots RMT is hands-down the best massage therapist that I have ever visited. I came to her seeking treatment for a neck injury caused by another healthcare practitioner. I had tried chiropractics, physiotherapy and other massage places and nothing was working to ease the constant pain and dizziness I was experiencing. Until the day I walked in to Taylor's studio and walked out feeling instantly better. Over the last few months my injury has made great strides in healing itself thanks to the care I have received here. The atmosphere at Knots is relaxing and fun. I have been to several RMTs in the KW area and none of them are as amazing as Knots! They do a great job of balancing a relaxing massage, with one that will really benefit my muscles and joints. They also provide great advice for home care that has really changed the way my body feels and moves. I google’d the closest RMT to my home and came across this place. I saw the reviews and booked an appointment. What I liked was that you could book your appointment online. My wife and I our appointment at the same time so we didn’t have to wait for each other. The registration process was quick and easy. The receipt gets emailed to you as they use the square payment system. The staff was very friendly and conversational. The office was clean the ambiance in the massage room was great. They have lots of options to choose from ranging from the hot stone massage to indian head massage. Definitely worth checking this place out. Customer service is key to me. This place has that, plus everything you’d expect from a professional RMT.

Had a massage with Carol and she applies a lot more pressure than most massage therapists I've met and I actually prefer the deep and high pressure on my knots. I have been having a hard time lifting my head up and down. And I thought this is how it is for the rest of my life. Her work has surprisingly released the knot that I felt so relieved and am able to perform motion comfortably for at least 5 weeks before I feel the tension picking up again. I've never felt like this before. She is the best massage therapist I've ever met. And I'm definitely swinging by Knots for more visits!

KNOTS RMT is the best place for a massage in KW. I've been going to Sapphira for several months now after being recommended by my MD to help manage some health concerns. Sapphira is highly knowledgeable and is great at explaining where the "knots" are anatomically and also in terms that you can understand. She is consistent in asking before each treatment the key problem areas and what may have caused it. She makes helpful suggestions post treatment to help further relieve tension in tight areas. I had a reservation with Michelle Kuschmierz in March 2019. She wears gloves to provide massage to clients. Apparently, she has cuts in her hand. It was defenately Not relaxed massage and had to ask her many times to give me massage in a different area. She has never asked me if pressure would be okay for me. She didn't apply enough oil and ended up stretched my skin too much . I almost felt she was going to break my skin. She wears elastic gloves, thus, her hands are not as sensitive as it should be. It was actually one of the worst experience. I had a tention on my leg, it didn't help me neither. Just to be fair, some RMTs are good in this location. In the future, they should inform clients in advance that she would be wearing gloves. Some people has allergy and can not be touched by a certain material such as the gloves.

Visiting knots was the best decision I've made all year. I have been battling through back pain for the last 6 months. I couldn't seem to find anywhere that could relieve the pain I was experiencing. In ONE treatment with Taylor, my back felt better than it has in a very long time. I highly recommend Knots Registered Massage Therapy. They really take the time to understand your issue, and work diligently at solving your aches and pains!

On Monday, November 22nd I had an appointment on 10:15 with Taylor and she messaged me in morning that she has an emergency and I said it is totally fine (but actually the late notice wasted my day off but it was fine because emergency happens) and she rescheduled it for today. Today on 26th November I got my second day off and drove 45 minutes to go there and when I showed up, she was not there. The receptionist didn't say sorry and told me she is not there. I texted her "It is Ok to have an emergency. But someone from the salon MUST inform your client that you will be off like Monday you informed me and I said it is ok. You should respect ppl's time. Anyways, good day and hope you get well soon." and she accused me by saying I am harassing her by this message... really???!!! I lost my only two days off (because of late cancellation notice and no cancellation) due to this unprofessional salon. Please do not lose yours...

Unprofessional and Disturbing Experience After the original review, the owner sent me a very long, strange and angry email and went as far as stalking me online which is very unsettling. Her response to the review is also filled with inaccuracies. She also stood by not providing your full treatment time because of the discussion time they include, so expect only 45 minutes of massage when you pay for a 60 minute treatment. Original review: Very frustrating when therapists cut massage time because of talking. Today I got only 45 minutes of massage for a 60 minute appointment because of the time the therapist took to get started. When I brought this up at the end, I was told that this is standard massage practice because talking before and after is included in the massage time. It is not. I get massages all the time and professional RMTs give you your full massage time. Another therapist spent the first 15 minutes talking about her personal life, which was unprofessional and took time away from my actual treatment. I've also had experiences of asking for a quiet massage but the therapist kept talking throughout the treatment, worse, she was complaining about her health and family issues with me while I was trying to relax. A couple of the therapists are better but overall I've had mixed experiences here. Service delivery and professionalism need improvement.

Very thorough massage by Eric and he was able to provide me with some alternatives to Massage Therapy for a few other issues that I was having. The clinic is clean and tidy and they follow Covid protocols. **To those that gave a 1 star because of an emergency clinic cancellation, grow up. The world doesn't revolved around you. FIND THE RESPONSE AFTER INITIAL REVIEW Totally unprofessional and disrespectful. They cancelled appointment without prior notice while my wife got a day off from work and the therapist was not there. This happened after another cancellation at the beginning of the week (at least for that one they informed). Totally not acceptable. You MUST inform your client if the session is not going to happen. I will cancel all my future sessions as well. ------------------------------------- RESPONSE: ------------------------------------- Well you are saying that you had an emergency such that you could not text or the salon could not inform which probably takes less than 6 seconds to do. But yet you have time to respond to reviews here. This is actually really surprising. I let people decide and judge :-) Of course I will write review for you and your unprofessional salon! People should be aware about this and I will make sure that everyone in the community is informed about this as well. This is exactly why there is a google review for businesses. Have a good day and hope you figure out how to treat people from now on and learn to act humanely. Oh BTW, I forgot to mention that I cancelled my appointment as well as I prefer to visit a place that people with compassion works there. I will definitely never come to this so called "business".

When you first walk into Knots, the atmosphere is so relaxing and calming. The RMT's, Taylor and Jenny, are both very friendly, professional and knowledgable. They take time each visit before the massage to discuss your needs and set up the room accordingly (white noise, soft music). They also take the time after the massage to offer further suggestions whether that's stretches, relaxation techniques ect. They never make you feel rushed and they always make you feel very comfortable. Their online website makes it so easy to book your appointments and receive reminders. I have had bad experiences at many other massage therapists but now that I've discovered Knots for massage therapy, I will never look to find another. I highly recommend Knots!

I'm not sure what Tara is going on about in her review, but every professional, licensed RMT is required by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario, to complete intake and consent with every client before they treat. I know this as I had a friend who went to school for massage therapy and helped them study! Seems as though Tara was previously treated by some unprofessional therapists. All of the RMTs at Knots are professionals and I've never had a bad experience. They take the time to get to the root cause of your health problems, and care about your well-being. Knots is a wonderful clinic, with professional, kind and hard working RMTs. I would recommend them to anyone who truly cares about their personal health journey.

The RMT's are always great, friendly and professional. Kayla's acupuncture treatment worked immensely, I felt relief after leaving my appointment.
