Brighton Sport and Wellness is honestly the best physiotherapy clinic I have ever been to. I have had ongoing issues for years that have required many physiotherapy sessions at different locations in Cobourg, North York, Toronto and now Brighton. Holly Trinkwon is not only highly educated in many different techniques, but she is also very personable. I cannot thank her enough for the amount of pain relief that I get from going to her clinic. My only regret is not finding her sooner. I highly recommend her!

I had strained a muscle in my back and went for a massage. The next day, my back felt 100% better. One of the best investments I made so far this year was that 1 hour massage! The staff are friendly and the place is very clean. Unlike most places that play canned "spa" music, my massage therapist had a great playlist of music that was easy listening, yet modern. A nice change!

Staff was friendly, but you expect that In a small town. They have a massage therapist and they are only at the facility until noon daily and don’t show up on weekends. Most injury’s and sports related accidents happen at night or on the weekend..

My opinion of the osteopathic services provided by the Brighton Sports and Wellness Clinic is very unfavourable. My family’s private coverage with Manulife covers osteopathic treatment, which is what is advertised by the clinic. However, to my surprise, the multiple osteopathic designations Jacinda Thomson provided carry no weight with Manulife, and other insurers that I have queried. The claim was denied. I assumed that going for osteopathic treatment and having osteopathic coverage would be sufficient. If coverage is important to you then you may want to look elsewhere.

I would not recommend Brighton Sports & Wellness Centre to anyone. My personal experience at the clinic with Jacinda Thomson, a practitioner at the clinic (I use that term loosely) was very negative and I got the sense from another staff member that it may be a common occurrence. I would recommend that the clinic take a close look at the credentials and attitude of the staff to evaluate if they are truly meeting the needs of the community they practice in or if they are just operating to generate revenue in a prime geographic market.

I did osteopathy and acupuncture with Jacinda for a handful of sessions and I was so pleased! My headaches are gone :) I’d had then for so long I was worried nothing would help. I’d recommend people give this a try.
