Pathetic excuse for a medical office. Unprofessional. Gary Kanter can’t even be bothered to show up to my appointment after I drove two hours to get there. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else.

Everyone I encounter, from the downstairs receptionists, to the people who check you in, to my doctor, is absolutely wonderful. My doctor is very thorough, and never makes me feel rushed. He has called me when he knew things were very rough for me to make sure that I'm maintaining, or to see if I need to come in. I feel they all genuinely care, and I'm very happy here.

Dr Kent Mathias, by far the worse psychiatrist. I was diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder and major compulsive depressive disorder and I've been suffering through really bad panic attacks and all he said to me was face them. Refused me meds to help with them. He would prescribe me all different types of medication that had nothing to do with helping with them. Then when I told him they only made me feel worse he told me to evaluate myself in a psychiatric hospital so I did and they wouldn't take me because I didn't need it. They also said that my psychiatrist was in the wrong for doing what he did to me and to look for a new psychiatrist..

UF Health employee and Gator Care user. As of December 3rd, 2021, they are scheduling 101 days out for Psychiatry appointments- a date of March 14th, 2022. While the UF Health Shands company sponsored insurance is denying me meds until I see a Psych. Who can wait over 3 months for help?

Dr. Hollifield is the most amazing Doctor. He cares deeply for his patients and is a blessing! All the nurses and staff are amazing. The billing specialist goes above and beyond for her patients. Best clinic staff you can find. Highly recommended.

Though I have had one negative experience, I did ask to be seen by another doctor and was placed with Dr Burnside. He is great, we have worked our way in to finding what works best for me after several tries of different medications, we have realized that the medication we know worked before my pregnancy is the better option. And yes they do help people with Medicaid!

I never felt like a psychiatrist hated me before, until coming to UF Spring Hill. Visceral hatred, wanting me to get worse. I am at a complete loss to understand this.

Terrible. Dr Daley Matthews was the worst psychiatrist I’ve ever seen. Didn’t help me at all, actually said and did things that caused me more trauma during the visit. Had one of the worst experiences in my life (and I’ve had a lot) please do not see this doctor if you are seeking help.

Unfortunately, it took a month to get an appointment. But besides that, my experience has been nothing but positive! Dr. Wenger is a wonderful doctor and has helped me a lot.

Unable to accommodate patients. Schedules are full and no room for growth. Apparently they need mire doctors. I am a retired UF Health employee with 2 different cancers undergoing chemo post surgically. I was referred by a UF cancer physician and need assistance with medication while undergoing chemo, radiation, breast surgery later this year, and another course of radiation. I also have Florida Blue insurance. Yet, sorry no room for another patient. Sad, very sad. Guess I must find someone outside UF.

I have been going here for at least 4 years now and the "doctors" keep getting worse! Today I had an appt with Joshua Proemsey. He is TERRIBLE! Condescending,rude,argumentative,dismissive,all of the things a mental health provider should NOT be! I left there in tears for the second time in a month! I go there for help. Not to be hurt more! The attending physician was awful as well. The office manager,Mary Ellen Frey is a joke as well. This place needs a real clean up!!!!! They are so out of touch when it comes to mental health.

Dr. Morrissey is amazing. I went in for my first psychiatric appointment ever and I was very nervous and anxious. Dr. Morrissey made me feel comfortable and relaxed as soon as I was taken back. She’s very nice, compassionate and you can tell she loves what she does and genuinely wants to help you. She gives you ample room for answers and never interrupts you. She explains everything very well and made me feel so much better about visiting for the first time. I’m glad I made my appointment here and I look forward to continuing treatment with Dr. Morrissey. If you’re able to, request an appointment with her! She’s the best.

Dr. Daley did not help me or listen to me. He talked down to me and disregarded my concerns about the method of treatment. His assistant was present during all of our sessions so they were able to gang up on me. Half the time he himself was not even present, just his assistant. After several sessions I stopped seeing them all together because they ignored me and belittled me and made me feel worse than when I started. They did not seem malicious, they didn't know what they were doing, but it was still very harmful.
