Thoroughly impressed by the ENTIRE staff and office itself. From the front desk staff, to the dental assistants, hygienists, and doctors I had a great experience all around. First and foremost, I was nervous about doing dental procedures due to COVID, however, they take that seriously and completely revamped and installed a high tech filtration system and now have surgically clean air. Also, the space itself is meticulously clean. Claudia, one of the dental assistants, went above and beyond making me comfortable during both my exam and a procedure I had to have done. She even made a list of activities for me around Algoma since I'm new to the region. Dr. Lee is fantastic and was just so kind and explained everything about my exam and procedures and even taught me some new things I hadn't learned before about my teeth and mouth health. Courtney was the hygienist I saw and she was marvelous! Answered all my questions and made my teeth look and feel amazing! Also, all of them had really great mouth etiquette, meaning I felt no pain and also no anxiety, which is great when looking back at previous experiences at other clinics. Definitely will be a repeat client. Thank you all so much!

I would highly recommend Dr. Chong and Dr. Bell at PHI dental..It's a very professionally run business and most notably from the moment you enter the business their customer care is top notch. As a patient that has had traumatic experiences in the past at other places they were very understanding and supportive. Most importantly, I recently had a root canal procedure and Dr. Chong was supportive of my care and needs throughout the procedure. It went amazingly well. All I can say is that everyone at Phi Dental are AMAZING!!!! Dr.Chong is phenomenal, he actually cares about the patients. He just treated my 6 year old son and it was his first time ever having freezing and not ONE tear- he was laughing while he had the needle in his mouth!! I think I was more nervous than he was. Dr.Chong explained the whole procedure to me and my son and gave us awesome follow up care. The office is impeccably maintained, so clean, organized and they are on time. I've never had to wait!!!! I will never go anywhere else for dental care! Keep up the fantastic work everyone.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Bell's ever since I can remember, and her and her staff have always been professional and courteous. The hygienists are all great and more than happy to help! Today was a regular cleaning for me, and one wisdom tooth removal, first time having Dr. Chong as my Dentist and I'd say he's a hell of a dentist! This place deserves all the positive ratings. Staff are honest, caring, professional, and gentle. The staff seem to really like working there. The office and patient rooms are extremely clean. I have multiple tattoos, and also have a fear of the dentist/needles, but this place doesn't scare me at all, and I feel relaxed during appointments. You can you watch netflix during a procedure if you want which is awesome! Good vibes all around. My teeth and I thank you.

Had my first visit today after switching dentists. The office is amazing, it's very clean and very new. I've never seen such high tech equipment in a dental office either. The staff were amazing and friendly, they made me feel very at home. Dr Chong was awesome as well, great bedside manner and explained everything clearly. I was very pleased and amazed with the care and treatment I received at PHI dental care. I was travelling to Sault Ste Marie for business, and broke a tooth while on the plane getting there (not a good way to start a trip), I was referred to PHI by the Hotel (Quattro). After searching on the web,I was happy with what i saw. I called and they booked me in for the afternoon, The greeting received was amazing, great staff, friendly, very very helpful and really cared, and asking all the time if i was in any pain. When i got there what a beautiful office space, along with such caring staff. My dentist was such as wonderful and caring person. as well, and treated me very well. You are in great hands and great professional people, who care.

Very professional and organized from the start Over the phone and in person Facility was clean and beautiful up to my standards and staff were amazing and nice to see a diverse team They were also life savers by fitting me in last minute for my wisdom teeth extraction I drove from Toronto to phi specifically for this procedure, Toronto waiting list was 1-2 months out Overall The procedure went a lot better then I anticipated I was very nervous but whatever they gave me sure did the job, relaxed and knocked me out I have no recall/memory 6-7 hours after procedure but felt great relaxed and well slept was in and out of sleep the whole day after coming back and of course jaws was swollen but other than that I wouldn’t mind revisiting them/using them as my regular dentist with a nice litttle vacation

Dr. Chong and his staff made quick, effective work of assessing and releasing those ties. They were so kind to me and my baby. My infant daughter was having trouble breastfeeding, so I decided to see Dr Chong who identified a lip tie and a tongue tie, which was likely contributing to difficulties with breastfeeding. The procedure to release the restrictions was very quick. I was able to hold my daughter the entire time and breastfed immediately afterwards. Dr Chong is very knowledgeable and professional. He made me feel comfortable and took the time to answer all of my questions. He also took the time to educate me on these conditions and how they may impact my baby’s speech and dental health later on in life. I am extremely pleased that I entrusted Dr Chong and PHI Dental with the care of my daughter. The staff is very friendly. Everyone was wearing a mask and were respectful of keeping their distance. Always have a great experience! All the staff are great to deal with and I forgot to update my contact info so I didn’t confirm my appointment but the crew at phi dental still figured out away to get me in with only having to wait a few extra minutes to figure out how they could do it and they did! They helped me out big got my tooth chip fixed and a cleaning that I asked if they could do when I got there haha and even then they still made it happen! PHI Dental Care has such a wonderful atmosphere! The staff are extremely friendly, supportive, and nonjudgmental. They go out of their way to ensure that you’re comfortable. Phi Dental is a great choice for orthodontic care. My daughter needed a tooth brought down from her palate and the only option we were given by the orthodontist in town was 2 years full braces. We thought that was our only choice until we heard from a friend about Phi Dental. Dr. Chung was fantastic right from the start. We were given many options for my self-conscious teenage daughter and son which included invisible trays, brackets, and partial braces. Dr. Chung and his staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and they even gave us some free visits without adding to the price. Dr. Chung was also more affordable than the orthodontist by far. I couldn’t say enough good things about Phi Dental. I always thought orthodontic care wasn’t an option for our family, but Phi Dental made it possible for us.

I had the pinhole (gum) surgery technique over a year ago. I should have written this sooner. Dr. Chong and his staff were excellent. The results were great and the procedure was pain free. Recovery was quick (as described). I highly recommend this technique, and Dr. Chong.
