Everyone is so kind. The clinic has a wonderful homey feel! I've been coming to this clinic for my depression /anxiety for 2 months and I always feel so welcome. ♡

Dr. Okoro: Given a cocktail of drugs that could’ve stopped my heart. I was fainting, depressed, had panick attacks, addicted, all they gave was more drugs different anti-depressants. Given A first generation anti-psychotic that gave me akathasia. If you don’t know what that is, research it before taking any anti depressant or anti psychotic. I don’t blame them. I made the choice to trust them. Do your research. Be careful and research the side effects of the meds they put you on. If the Drs. don’t listen tell the pharmacist. Rememeber scripts=$$$ EDIT: I see numerous people say he was going to commit them, um same here... very cruel man.

Dr. Uku has always been genuinely invested in my well being. It is exceedingly difficult to find a psychiatrist that actually takes the time with their patients to help achieve stability while being both caring and direct. The receptionist Michelle is warm and welcoming every single time I arrive for my appointments. I highly recommend this practice.

Not a pleasant experience. I seen one girl leave before I came into the new doctor's office (Dr. Okoro). Im I found him to be rude and very uncaring. He would not shake my hand and rarely made eye contact with me. I am not a fan of medication and I told him that. He was rude because that is what I came to see him for. I told him no, I came here for help not for a hand full of meds. With that the doctor began to bully me and told me if I do not take the meds I would surely be in the psych ward and he demanded that I tell my husband that. I left with a very bitter taste in my mouth for the whole profession. I know there is doctors who are out there who would like to treat their patients rather than give them handful and handfuls of meds just to numb the problem rather than help the person.

Dr. Chidinma Ukandu-Ndubueze is a self centered egotistical flake. She was late for appointments, and she wouldn't stop talking long enough for me to have my concern heard. She didn't like that fact that a private support person accompanies her clients. She was very uncooperative when asked to make a referral to a psychiatrist who was willing to work with a client who requires a service dog. I would not recommend this clinic and especially this doctor.

Dr. Okuro gave little to no interest in my well being. All he cared about was if I was continuing to take my medication. He would not listen to my input on what I thought would help me and would often threaten that I would end up in the psych ward if I did not endlessly pop pills that he prescribed me. If you are looking for a psychiatrist who genuinely cares about your well being and is not a pill pusher i suggest looking elsewhere.

Excellent staff and Dr UKU is wonderful - a great listener, caring, understanding and provides realistic, honest, and positive feedback. I highly recommend him!

Amazing place. The receptionist Michelle is very friendly and welcoming every time, and Dr Uku is the best psychiatrist I have ever seen. He genuinely cares about his patients and never pushes pills. He offers me other helpful ideas to manage my anxiety other than just my mediation. I highly recommend him and this clinic.

Dr Okoro is an amazing psychiatrist. He's focused on helping his patients, not doing it for the buck. He takes the time to work with me me in all aspects of my mental health, not just writing a script or make suggestions to 'get better'. I'd suggest him to anyone in need of a good psychiatrist.

Very good place to go to if you have mental health issues.The reception is very good and Dr Okoro is very professional,friendly and kind.I was struggling with ADHD and was almost about to drop out of college when my family doctor referred me to hope clinic.I will recommend the place anyday.Don't allow the old fashioned building discourage you though!

Extremely disappointed in the care I received. Refused to let me talk and explain symptoms thoroughly, raised voice during appointment. Had to leave appointment because of the situation. Now I am left without a refill and have to go off my meds. I find this very unprofessional and unsafe. Go somewhere else, do not waste your time here. Nice receptionist though.

I have nothing but good things to say about Dr Okoro. My previous Dr. yelled at me and slammed his laptop on the table. Dr Okoro is as invested in my recovery as I am. If that means trying different meds fine that is why he is there. If I don't I can go find someone that does talk therapy. I haven't felt this good in 8 years. I am grateful.
