I went in with a chest infection yesterday, seen Doctor AJ, he is the best Doctor and most caring Doctor I have ever seen. With the medication he put me on, I am already starting to get over this chest infection and so happy I received such great care.

The asian assistant was probably the best assistant I have ever seen, super caring, shows concern for your problems and writes down in detail about everything, Dr. Alfred is probably the worst Doctor i have ever seen. I had a tonne of pain in my right arm and have not been able to speak for at least a week and telling him about my issues , he never paid attention to what i mentioned and asked him to see my swollen hand, told him i might have pinched my vein or something and he said all I can do is prescribe an advil, but never paid attention to any of my concerns, very unresponsive to anything i was saying.

Very poor medical services. Our son went in for very painful sinus issues, he was asked what did he want the Doctor to do about it, was told to keep an eye on it and take pain medication. Three days later, ER doctor had it diagnosed in 5 minutes, infection was way worse and now he is missing another day of school with fever and extreme pain.

I am vey grateful to have found Dr. Durojaye and his staff. I have always been treated with respect and dignity. Dr. Durojaye ensures your voice is heard and does his best to help. I am removing one star because I usually have to wait about an hour to be seen, but this is common with many practices. Dr. Durojaye is worth the wait. He cares about his patients. I highly recommend Dr. Durojaye and the Gateway Family Medical Clinic.

I was a patient at this clinic for 10 years,when my docotr retired I was seeing the other doctor at the clinic and received a phone call a couple of weeks ago saying there is a new doctor I could see. When I called to make an appointment they told me they no longer had my file and that I would have to go to a different clinic. The receptionist was cold and dismissive. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone.

I was shocked that a clinic could be this disorganized, unprofessional and neglected. I would not recommend this clinic or Dr. Alfred Durojaye. Unless you are in dire need, please investigate another clinic. Patients deserve better.

Our family doctor of 47 years is retiring and suggested the Family Medical Clinic in Gateway Village. My husband and I made a "get acquainted" visit and were very pleased with the reception staff, the nurse and the doctor. I was dreading hunting for a new doctor, but now that we are registered with the Family Medical Clinic, a weight has been removed from my shoulders. I know we will receive good care there.

Very poor doctor. I had to go to another doctor the next day as this was the worst medical care I have ever received. The doctor couldn't answer simple questions, didn't have time to assess the area of concern, and answered a personal call on his cell phone while he was dealing with me.

Doctors don't follow the hippocratic oath. If prescription are all you need this is the place for you. If feeling like you aren't getting the proper care and attention to your problems, this is the place for you. I've been with this office for 2 years and my faith in their capabilities are dwindling by the day.

After going through half a dozen doctors in as many years, I came across Dr Raymond (Asongwe) when he had his clinic in Clairview. A few years back, he moved to their new location in St Albert. I followed him there, and now our entire family goes to him. He's the most knowledgeable GP I've ever come across, and when he doesn't know something, he doesn't pretend to, and guess. He will discuss cases with colleagues to find answers or he will refer you to someone who does know. Just as important, he, and the staff actually listen to you when you're explaining the problem youre there for. Hes never steered us wrong, and has gone above and beyond when dealing with our kids who all have autism. I cant say enough good things about this clinic.

Been a patient of gateway for 2 years . They double book, over book.. literally every single time I went in. I waited an hour or more past my appointment each time. I saw Dr Alfred. WOW. We sent out an MRI, of urgency- they were able to get me in less than 2 weeks... he didn't call with my " 3 day results " until a week later. Denied to look further into my problem because he felt it rude that I called him out for pushing my results off . His front staff will book you for a phone consult and then nobody will call you. Big pill pushers. Not gonna get to the root of your issues.Multiple times at my appointments he felt the need to bring up my negative google review - today he discharged me as a patient. I'm not really sad about it because my " appointment " always took me an entire afternoon to complete. Maybe with the loss of business they'll be able to manage their patient load better. I will be reporting this to CPSA and the health advocate office. Go. Somewhere. Else.

First visit with this clinic to find a family GP. All staff and Dr Alfred we're great. Awesome service manners from all staff, they took the time to listen to my information, and questions. Answered concisely and gave great feedback. Glad to have gone here. Would recommend to anyone looking for a practice to see.

Last week I took our 3 yr old to see Dr. AJ (who we won’t be going back to) for his 3 yr check up. I explained that he’s been sick since early Sept and has had a bad cough the past 3 weeks. He told me it’s likely asthma and prescribed an inhaler. I expressed concern over another issue and when he didn’t have an answer, he offered to send us to a pediatrician. We saw the pediatrician this morning and he was fantastic. He said he absolutely does NOT have asthma, he has a sinus infection. He sent us for xrays to confirm and now he’s on fairly strong antibiotics for 14 days. Our son could have been feeling SO much better if this doctor had seen all the signs the pediatrician did today.

Dr Alfred and Janelle are excellent people. We were without a family physician due to ours deciding to specialize in skin care. We were given a list of physicians that were accepting new patients. We lucked out and got Dr Alfred. Extremely knowledgeable, he always reads the notes on the patient. Janelle is such a ray of sunshine every time we come in. Always makes us feel welcome. Definitely recommend this medical clinic.

I understand they are busy here but to be on hold for about 25 min just ask something, and i hear there is more then one person at the desk. Like how can you put someone on hold for that long. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

The nursing staff here are great. The young woman who takes your BP writes detailed notes for the Doctor which is quite reassuring during visits. Dr. Durojaye has been a great Doctor. He will listen carefully, shows you your test results while covering any questions, and does not dismiss symptoms. Writes lots of notes on the laptop too.

Avoid it like the plague if you value your day. They don’t stick to their appointment times. Wish I could rate this place less than one star. This is the second time I’ve made an appointment and I have not been seen for over an hour after the appointment. No excuse, no sorry, nothing. Pathetic.

Waited over an hour for an appointment with no other patients in the building. When I raised a concern the receptionist and nurse were great at letting him know, but still no doctor. I ended up walking out. May say they are accepting new patients but clearly don't have the capacity/prioritisation. I could hear the doctor laughing and chatting on the phone. I'm not convinced it was work related

The best doctor is a doctor that listen to his patients and give advice after hearing a full history from the patients. I don't usually get my way, but De. Asongwe always give me satisfying advice. This is the best clinics I ever visited and I missed it every time I am sick. I missed my doctor a great deal, but I am 5 hours flight away.

Do not go here terrible service my prescription ran out and Dr refused to refill it unless I went In personally and when I tried to make an appointment they were booking almost a month in advance so again do not go here you are better off at a walk in clinic

Wait for an hr + past your appointment . Doctor says he does callbacks at PM , doesnt even bother calling patients. Been waiting for a physiatrist referral for over 6 weeks that he claims he has "sent" - pulling out his phone to text during my appointment . Nobody has called. Ended up in crisis at ACCESS 247 in edmonton because they just want their prescription quotas filled. Save your time go somewhere else.

The staff and doctors from my experience are amazing, always happy with how I am treated. My opinion feels valued and listened to every time I go in. I've never had a family doctor before, and Dr. Alfred has made the situation easy for me, couldn't be grateful enough.

I give the support staff a rating of 5 out of 5 they were friendly and polite. However my low rating is given in regards to the fact that I waited 2 hours to see the Doctor. The Doctor on the other hand has a poor bedside manner. He didn't introduce himself and the only time that he looked at me is when he walked through the examination room door. He faced his computer the whole time and was difficult to hear because he was wearing a mask and a shield. I totally support the COVID protection procedures that they have in place. But he didn't even turn his head sideways to repeat himself. Very disappointed with his behavior.

I went in to have a mole removed by Dr. Raymond. I was very nervous and brought it up with the nurse. The nurse just shrugged it off. She brought me into the room and opened all the instruments, scapulae and needle. then left the room. My appointment was to start at 3pm. I sat in that room by myself with opened medical tools for 1 hour and 5 minutes. At no point did anyone come to tell me that they were running late nor apologize. I left in tears because my anxiety was so high that I couldn't sit in there anymore. When I tried to leave the receptionist stood in my way and tried to get me to stay. They were extremely rude and unprofessional and I would not recommend coming here. I will be following up with the health board. They also leave detailed voicemails regarding your appointment which is against the privacy act.

When I showed up for my first appointment with dr Alfred for 10am they said they had changed the time to 3 and left a voicemail. Miscommunication because I checked that they had my number right and I have no missed calls or voicemails from then but whatever... Then after an hour of waiting (around 415) I asked what's going on and they said "he'll be there soon" which they had said an hour before ... My 3 year old son was not being patient to say the least but if I'd had a heads up it was going to be over an hour to see the doctor past when we had checked in for our appointment, then I would've been able to bring him to a park or something. I will not be returning or recommending anyone go here.
