I went to the doctor for a while and they weren't great at answering phones but with covid it got horrible. I had an appointment booked for 8:50 in the morning. By 9:10 I didn't get a phonecall, so I phoned a few times. By the second call they answered and said they had already attempted to phone and I had no missed calls. This appointment was important for me and it caused me a lot of anxiety trying to figure out what was going on with my appointment. On another phone call I was put on hold and then kicked off. I tried phoning back again and there was no answer. I phoned the office an exact total of 30 times and in all those calls it was only answered twice. I went there trying to figure out what was going on the the nurse said the doctor tried phoning and said they were busy. I get doctors are busy but why is it that a patient is having so much trouble and the nurse can care less? No one apologized to me they just made excuses. I wish they at least tried to show that they care. Very frustrating. I am understanding and get that things happen but I actually had to go down to the doctors office to be able to have a clear/good conversation.
