Staff are all excellent! The nurse's that see you before the doctor are always very compassionate and kind. I feel they really address your needs with great understanding and care. I've been seeing Dr. Feroze who I can say is very thorough and professional. I can feel he truly cares to help me with my pain management. I would like to thank Madiha Khokhar the Regional Director and Dr. Mark Hawass for their Over-the-Top Patient Care Services ... today Madiha sent me from The Oshawa Clinic to the Scarborough Clinic & back to my home in Ajax in a Taxi to get my treatment ... the Clinic suffered a major flood and I must say they sure are trying their best to continue to give the best care possible during this time ... Before I started receiving treatment from Dr. Hawass, I spent a good deal of time lying in bed, crying. When I had to go somewhere, I had to use a cane, but it was becoming apparent that I was soon going to need a wheelchair. Getting treatment and having my medications properly managed means I'm mobile again. I have a degenerative condition and fibro, so I'll never be 100% again, but treatment at CPM has been the difference between being bedridden and being able to walk.

I have been going to the CMP Centre for Pain Management for 4 weeks now for my rotator's cuff and arm pain. I was a little hesitant as to what they could do for me to help me with the pain of my arm without using narcotic pain medication, as I did not want any narcotic pain medications to help with the pain. Since I have been going their, I have been getting needle injections that allow me to exercise my arm and build strength in my arm until the injections wear off. I go weekly for my injections (NOT cortisone shots) and find my pain is getting better. I am given muscle relaxers that help when the injections wear off. The staff is so friendly, wait times are very short and my doctor (Dr Feroze) is absolutely wonderful and informative to any and all questions I have. He is very gentle with the injections and always makes sure your ok during and after the injections. I highly recommend the CMP Centre for Pain Management!! Danielle

Worse pain clinic ever was diagnosed by Dr Feroz with supposedly problems between my l4 and l5 all he kept doing was pushing pain pills on me that made me sleep 18 hrs a day. I then decided to consult a chiropractor that actually confirmed that my problems were at l3 and l5 for a dr he didn't know his stuff well. I am now in a different pain clinic receiving my needles with a normal size needle not the over sized one that dr feroz was trying to use on me and I am getting it Intra muscular not in between vertabres like dr frozen wanted. I Would not recommend this clinic to anyone worse experience I ever received

You guys are absolutely amazing, when visiting in-person. That said, your admins need to get better at picking up the phone and you need to get better at returning calls. There have been moments where it's been impossible to get through and then, I never get calls returned. Phone communications have value.

My Doctor was great but 6 phone calls no reply yet I still waiting for my prescription to be faxed over been a month with no pain relief. Not having the best luck with this clinic.

I originally started off with Dr Mulé & he was absolutely AMAZING, & he was more than just a pain specialist for me, on numerous occasions he'd address other health issues I had at the time & would even write me prescriptions for those needs, which was ALWAYS a big help as it's near impossible to get an appointment with my family doctor. And he was a great listener, I'd gone in there more than a few times emotional, & through tears & all, he'd listen, & NEVER EVER did I feel rushed, he was there for as long as you needed him. I was extremely sad to see him go because to me he was simply the BEST, & he understood me, however I wished him well on his new position, his new patient's are lucky to have him. I'm not one for change so Dr Mulé said I could come see him in Couburg, but ask first that I give the new doctor a chance. ????‍⚕️???????? So I did. And Dr Mulé was right, Dr Mount also turned out to be a EXCELLENT doctor, & I felt VERY comfortable with her, which for me is VERY important, she has an AMAZING bedside manner & she too has addressed other health issues of mine, however she too is leaving, but I totally understand why. I also shed tears at the news of her leaving.????‍⚕️???????? She says she feels she's matched me with the right doctor, best suited for me, so we'll just have to wait & see . Compliments also go out to the staff who to me are fantastic, each one brings something positive to the table, which in return runs the office smoothly. And as busy as they are I've ALWAYS had my calls returned, usually the same day, & normally in a matter of a couple/few hours,& if not the same day the following day for sure. Like I said their very busy, so PLEASE be patient with them. As busy as they are, they ALWAYS take the time to answer questions to the best of their ability, & they do it with a smile. ???????????? Without connecting with the pain clinic my life would be unbearable on a daily basis, so I not only lucked out on my referral, I've lucked out on AMAZING doctor's & WONDERFUL staff.???????? Thanks to all of you from the bottom of my heart.♥️

I came to them as a last resort for pain management for chronic back pain and was told it’s pretty much all in my head because I have anxiety and a history of depression and was offered no help whatsoever. My experience was extremely degrading and unfortunate. I was told this was the best pain clinic in the area and I have to disagree. Dr blecher got angry with me when I was explaining my frustration and told me I should go swimming more and work on my mental health and that would help me. He didn’t want to work me when I was felt he wasn’t listening to me and wanted to end the appointment. I came for pain relief and left with more anxiety and the same pain as they didn’t provide anything for me. Disappointed in the staff and dr blecher

I have written this for all of us out there who are chronic pain suffers and feel like there's no hope for them. My message is that there is! There's a Pain Specialist, one of several, who work at The Centres for Pain Management, (CPM), in Oshawa. His name is Dr. Mark Hawass. At this point I need to go back in time. At 71 years of age I have experienced incredible medical issues since my mid teenage years. These issues include over a dozen surgeries. As a consequence of all of this I have seen a vast number of Specialists in various fields. Many of these previous Specialists have been a total waste of time and taxpayers money. The first time I was sent to a Chronic Pain Clinic, (not CPM), It was a one time visit and I was put on Morphine due to a life long disabling fall out of the shower in my house that broke and displaced my tailbone. Things did not improve and I eventually progressed to developing severe Sciatica first in one leg and later the other leg as well. By now, I was as low and depressed as I've ever experienced. Then, I was sent to CPM where I met a new Pain Specialist there how had just been newly hired. With this everything changed!!!! I met Dr. Mark Hawass who had previously been a Family Physician and an Emergency Room doctor. I had been seeing him for something like 6 years for routine Nerve Block Injections, a Lidocaine Infusion and prescriptions for more powerful Pain Medications than the ineffective Morphine I had been on. Over the years I've had over 1000 Nerve Block Injections in up to something like 10 different areas of my body. I now refer to him as a deeply appreciated friend and I get the feeling that he sees me as a friend as well. Dr. Mark Hawass is fully aware of my various other medical issues, besides pain, and has been incredible at helping me to understand and cope with these other issues. His teachings are at a level where I've often told him that he would make a fantastic teacher. Whenever I had trouble understanding the concept of what he was trying to relate to me, he would come up with an analogy that would make it crystal clear to me. I know that he is constantly adding to his medical knowledge. After attending a medical convention on one weekend, he came up with more ideas on how to treat me. As I have so many medical issues and feel lost in the system, it's Dr. Hawass, not my other Specialists who is the most valuable to me! He always takes the time to explain my other issues and what I should be doing to cope with them. At one point, my Family Physician moved on and Dr. Hawass made it his mission to find me a new one. Incredible! It is so nice to hear the receptionists and nurses tell me how lucky I am to have Dr. Hawass as my Pain Specialist. So obviously they share my feelings towards him. If you are fortunate to become a patient of Dr. Mark Hawass, you will find him to be a knowledgeable, caring human being with an immense passion for his work and whose main mission in life is to help people. He will always seem like a friend to you as he has to me.

Very professional and a very useful service for people in chronic pain. If you think there's something magical about it and everything is going to go away that is not how it works. It's a way to manage your pain. It will not completely take it away. The staff are very nice and helpful, the doctors are fantastic. The office is clean and well-cared for. For a medical establishment it is very comfortable and once you are in the wait times are very minimal. Each appointment takes 10 to 20 minutes depending on how many needles you get or which doctor you get. You do need a doctor's referral to get in and there is a long waiting list to get in. Last year 2018 I waited 8 months.

Without the help from this clinic I would not be able to function on a day to day basis. All nurses are polite and friendly, as are the ladies at the front desk. Dr. Morin always listens to what I say and has a great bedside manner. I visit this clinic weekly for injections and have no negative comments.

The staff at the front desk are absolutely amazing. Couldnt give them a 5 star. Some of the nurses in the back are nice. Although the sit and talk about patients at their huge desk after the patients have left very negatively. I was seeing doctor green for a few months. He was not compassionate at all. Did not care that I couldnt afford the patch he prescribed for me. Would cut me off over and over again and kept asking if I wanted the injections. I was having them. Then I was in another accident this time a car accident. And the injections caused me absolutely terrible pain. I told him this and he just kept interrupting and saying do you want the injections 3 times. I said no each time. He then stood up and pushed his neck out towards me and his face was closer to mine and said."your just going to have to live in pain" he then walked out the door. I had brought my adult daughter with me to witness how he treated me. She said that she had never met a doctor so rude and compassionate. We left. I DO NOT RECCOMEND DR. GREEN TO ANYONE GOING TO CPM. He will make you feel worse and also worthless.

I have been going to CPM for close to 10 years now. Dr Peter Blecher is my doctor although I have seen other doctors including Marc Hawaus and Dr Anthony Chin. They are all superb doctors who genuinely care about their patients. When I first met Dr Blecher I was almost totally bed bound. I hadn't been out for months because my pain was so bad despite being on high doses of opioids. I have my life back and said goodbye to the opioids years ago thanks to Dr Blecher. The nurses and staff are wonderful as well. I know I can always count on Amy and the other ladies for a warm welcome. Amy is fantastic. It really helps us when patients come in feeling a lot of pain.

Keep cancelling lidocaine infusions last minute. Have to get someone to drive me since you’re not allowed to drive afterwards. Of my 6 booked appointments I’ve only managed to have 2 since they keep cancelling and it’s impossible to find a ride now.

I've been attending CPM, first Scarborough then Oshawa, for several years. My doctor there is Dr. P. Blecher although I have been treated by Dr. Chin and Dr. Green. Before seeing Dr. Blecher I had been bed ridden for some years. Dr. Blecher gave me a life back. The kindness and understanding he has shown through the years goes far above and beyond what one expects. I simply cannot say enough about the service and care I've received at CPM. ALL the staff are courteous, professional and sympathetic. The lidocaine infusion treatment has made an enormous difference and I will be happy when Covid-19 is a thing of the past and treatments can return to normal scheduling. My most heartfelt thanks to Dr. Blecher and the whole CPM Oshawa team for the outstanding care that has extended beyond merely providing medical treatment for chronic pain. Anyone suffering chronic pain should speak with their doctor about a referral. You don't need to suffer alone anymore. CPM can provide the relief you need to return you to a life where pain is no longer the sole, or main focus. The compassion with which you are treated beginning with reception is, in my opinion, integral to the treatment provided and a rare commodity within the healthcare system. Again thank you Dr. Blecher and CPM Oshawa without whom I wouldn't be here.
