This Psychiatrist is classified in the category of Walk-in clinic.
Family doctor here is great. Highly recommended. Walk in clinic also available.
I've been Dr Hajas patient for over 5 years. She is by far the best doctor I have ever dealt with. She is compassionate, calm, professional, respectful and really shows how much she cares for her patients. Yes - at times the wait it long. The front desk has no control of the wait times. I think the front desk staff are friendly and very courteous. If you want a doctor that has exceptional bedside manner and is professional and kind a Dr Hajas is highly recommended. I believe it is worth the wait to see her!
I like to give places a chance when the ratings are almost 50/50...however my experience gets a one star for two reasons. First, receptionist... When you go to a new place it is nice to have a welcoming smile... That was completely missing. Since it was 9am, it could not be attributed to a long day. When I told receptionist my reason for coming she actually rolled her eyes and frowned! Then she gave me my health card and disappeared. Then the doctor... Dressed in a track suit, and despite me saying I am deaf and to please write down our communication, he insisted on speaking. He didn't even ask any questions about my health or feelings..and when he printed the prescription it was for half the number of pills needed... And he just walked away till I yelled "Hey!!! You did it wrong" he just looked at the form and with pen scribbled right dose. The only good thing about this place is the pharmacist at the pharmacy who's super sweet and nice.
Dr. Deen is an exceptionally kind, patient and thoughtful practitioner. He is a great resource for our community and has provided my family with outstanding medical advice time and time again. If you are looking for a family doctor, look no further. Yes, this is a busy clinic, but they always do their best to accommodate their patients and always return voicemails during busy times.
Front desk was rude. Felt like they are forced to work there. Like you are bothering them.
Waited 1 hour and 5 minutes....when an appointment was made
I went in with a problem with my elbow. The Dr. literally looked at it for about 30 seconds asked a couple basic questions, then left the room saying she'd be right back. I waited, and waited, and waited.... and waited. The whole time I could hear her in another room with another patient. She was seeing the man who had come after me, and it wasn't an emergency. I asked the receptionist what was going on. Receptionist didn't know what to say ( receptionist was polite btw, not her fault ). I just left, and didn't get a diagnosis or prescription. Told the receptionists that I'll just go see a different doctor. Very disappointed and feel disrespected.
It doesn5 feel professional at all they forgot about a patient and put me in a room and then came and took me back out and told me to go back to waiting room. They dont work well up front no communication. Doctor asked me why I was there I said I dont know they made the apt to meet u. I just wanted to register with a new doctor. The doctor told me to come back
Dr. Hajas is great. She cares about you and your health, including preventative care. Happy to order tests and referrals as needed. Yes the wait is long if you drop in without an appointment but worth it.
Appointment here doesn’t mean anything
I'm not sure the circumstances for all the negative reviews here, but my experience has always been exceptional. If you have no appointment and call in advance, you can be scheduled in or told when the best time to drop by would be. I've never waited more than 15 minutes to see Dr Deen, though I have only been a patient for a year. I've had to wait in the past for other dr's and even then, Dr's are only human, if they fall behind schedule they only have so many hours in the day to make up the time... and as for the receptionists I've dealt with, they've always been very sweet, caring and efficient in scheduling me in or calling back for followups.
They look after you at one point or another; they can make improvements reducing wait times
If you've been referred to this clinic for a neurologist don't waste your time he likes to wait 2 months before responding to you then proceeds to fax your family Dr saying he's not the right neurologist and will have to send you to another one. If I could give this clinic a negative star review I would.
I went into the clinic today with concerns towards my skin which is infected and my feet are swollen. I have rashes all over my legs. She has the nerve to tell me we don't recommend dermatologist appointments on walk ins so go see your family doctor.. Looks like a virus. Take some allergy medicine. Bye. And stormed out of the room without looking back. Is that good service or being a good doctor? What a waste of time. Wish I spent that time seeing a doctor that actually takes the time to take care of their patients and people like they are supposed too. If you don't like your job.. Do us a favour and get a new one! Your a pathetic doctor and even more an ignorant human being.
Boyfriend has his family doctor here and went to get his hand checked because he thought that it was broken. He was told he would be called that night regardless if the results were in (they never called). Saturday morning he called to see if the results were in and they said their fax was down and told him Monday he would be called. He called back Monday and they told him to call the x-ray clinic to see if they sent it! So he did and sure enough the x-ray clinic sent it on Friday. He calls back James snow medical and they tell him to call the x-ray clinic and tell them to resend it. The patience he has is phenomenal, so called the x-ray clinic back and got them to resend it. Calls back James snow for a third time and all he gets is call back tomorrow. This place is a joke, just go to emergency might wait 5 hours but at least you're not dealing with this hassle.
Dr Stircu is one of the best Drs I've ever had. Her "bedside" manner is real good. She's very understanding, has appointments available, is very accommodating in general, has a way with patients. I would definitely recommend her as a family Dr. or walk-in Dr.
Nice clean facility and good service. Will be continuing to go here.
The wait wasn't too long and the staff, while very quiet and not chatty, was helpful and curtious.
I cannot speak for the doctors or clinical aspects of this centre; however, as others have stated, the receptionist customer service is extremely bad. I tried calling for 2 weeks to book an appointment, and each time, nobody answered the phone. It is extremely saddening, and I hope they are able to fix this.
I completely agree with the prior reviewer. The front desk who works in there is quite rude. She sure has some big attitude problem. The Doctor was nice though .I wanted a new Family Doctor and even set up an apt but realizing that I had to deal with this kind of front desk everytime, I opted out .
best dr I’ve ever had. She pushed to get all my cancer treatments to be diagnosed and treated on time and all went well and she keeps taking care of me. We are very grateful to her as she helped find the disease on time to be treated accordingly.
Absolute garbage, from the rude and clueless administrative staff to the lack of coordination and organization. I’ve had to take my sick child and walk out of this clinic multiple times from sheer frustration and feeling disrespected.
Horrible service from reception, you will wait a week for a normal appointment. Dr. Deen is a good doctor.
If there was a negative star for rating. I would not hesitate to give. I had an eye infection and had to buy drops. I went inside and there was no one. The places seems to be dead. ( now I know why no one willing to go ) So I gave the prescription to the pharmacist. I was asked if I had insurance or not. I said no. He gave me the drops and receipt were put inside of paper bag. I was in hurry so didn’t check the receipt & paid $31.64 I got off from the work and checked the receipt. The original cost of the drops were $18.64 And other fees were charged were $12.99 Price = $18.64 Other fees = $12.99 Total = $ 31.64 So I went back kindly and asked why there was other fees charged for. Me: Hey, if you remember me i just bought this drops in the afternoon. I just wanna know why there is other fees is being charged. Pharmacist : sure I can check it. Ohh well this is what we charged for every medication. Me : I have been to other pharmacy to buy medicines. I have not seen any of the store are charging. I would like to know what is this for. Pharmacist: In Canada, there is always a fee which is being charged no matter where you would buy them. Me: Sir once again, this is not my first time buying medication. I have been buying medication from everywhere whenever I need. I don’t get why there is fee which you guys charged me for no reason and why is there on a first place ? Pharmacist : I asked you for the insurance and you said no so I gave the discount. Me : Nope ! This doesn’t seems like any type of discount to me. Discount should reduce over all price and I literally paid more than it original cost of the drops. He gave me the option to refund the money of the other fees and sell me the drops for the original price. I got the full refund. He did wanna finish this matter in better end but he doesn’t understand once you lose a costumer then you lose it. Period ! I’m writing this to help other ppl to open their eye before buying anything from this pharmacy. Always check the breakdown of your total. This pharmacy could cheat easily.
Dr.hajas is a great Dr. Wait times are a little excessive. With an appointment it's usually an hour to hour and a half wait. Without an appointment it's about a 4 hour wait
Dr. Deen is amazing. He actually cares and takes time to listen to you. Most doctors give you 2 minutes and you are done. Dr. Deen never rushes. My family and me are so lucky to have him. During the pandemic me and my family have had various health issues and Dr. Deen has always called us and cared for us. The clinic was affected by covid break and closed for that period; other then that they always call back. Megan Dr. Deen receptionist is the best; polite calm and very helpful; if there is any problem she is there to help you.
The doctor is absolutely wonderful. The receptionist services is complete opposite. It's unreal how no matter what time of the day I call any day of the week...no one picks up. But when you go to the clinic, they are always on the phone. It's frustrating when you have a little one who is due for vacination or not feeling well and we can't even get through the reception.
Dr Hajas is a very knowledgeable doctor. She goes far and beyond any other doctor will ever go. I am forever grateful to her for taking care of me and my daughter. I strongly recommend her as being the best doctor you can have. GP
Time management is a big issue in this office and it also shows a lack of consideration for the patient’s time. The doctor is pleasant but after a 2 hour wait (most of the time) with an appointment, you get to discuss your own problems in a rush as they are always running behind. This tells me that it is a business, more about money and less about the patient’s well being. I will definitely start searching actively for another family doctor.
Hours show open till 7pm. Came in at 4:55 and was told by the doctor that she’s done at 5:00 and she won’t be able to help me cause she’s done work!!! And then I was told if I have any questions to ask the receptionist.
Dr Hajas is an amazing doctor. Switched to her after I had a poor treatment from previous physician. She is calm, patient and listens well to your concerns .
Was referred there threw OCOP who gave me Doctor excepting patients well Dr.Deen returned my call to my disappointment that he said he is not excepting new patients to be a family doctor and he wouldn't be able to be a good doctor because of his medical condition he said which was to bad because I need a doctor but I appreciate his honesty and because of his health sometimes is unable to be at work also he told me that if I also would have ever needed pain meds he''s unable to prescribe them which was good to know in cause I ever had a operation or something and would need them nice guy but not feeling well good -luck hope you get well!
Dr.Deans office is amazing. All the stuff on site are very helpful. During the Covid pandemic he was punctual on his phone appointments ensuring I get my prescription refills on time. Thanks for all the hard work James Snow Medical!
dr Hajas front desk nurses are absolutely atrocious. If you have any health concerns and need a diligent doctor to help you with any of your needs, do not choose this clinic! You will be waiting lengthy waiting periods for even a response from this Healthcare team, they do not care about your health. If the receptionist know you are calling to get in contact with Dr Hajas they will ignore you or tell you to book a appointment months from the date. If you need a family doctor that you barely need to see, speak with, and has little to none compassion for your health - this is the perfect family doctor.
The worst clinic to go to. Sad receptionist who have forgotten how to smile. Dr. Deen does not return any calls during the pandemic. Kept calling and leaving messages, no one calls back. They don’t really care if you died ... they just for the salary, no one seems to be getting any Job satisfaction. Finally went to Milton Hospital (Emergency) where the service was great.
I have been a patient of this practice for over 5 years. My whole family goes here. The two family doctors are really good. I have seen many disgruntled patients in the waiting room trying to get prescriptions for certain drugs hence some of the comments
Waiting time is tooo long
Only one doctor per day, when you book an appointment. When an appointment is booked, you still have to wait 1 hour- 1 hour and a half to just get in. Woke up to get blood work done, and I walked away. only 5 people ahead, front desk advised it will be 1 hour.
The receptionists (Bina and others) are the worst. Unprofessional, a serious lack of common courtesy. Dr. Hajas never seems to have enough time to properly hear you out - always seems to be behind. When she's focused, she's very good. But when she's not, it's a waste of time to go there. I'm looking for another "real" family doctor - had enough of this!
I'd rate this place one star, if I based it off the person answering the phone, as she is completely rude and unprofessional. But I'm rating it based off the doctor, and not the abrasive secretary he employs. Side note, perhaps don't get into an argument with someone over tiles in front of your patients. Grossly unprofessional. Settle that privately.
Spent five years pleading for help from doctors and Dr Hajas found the problem after three visits and precise tests. You won't find better. Takes time to fully listen to issues and solve the problems. Thank you. DM
Waited an hour and 20 mins for my appointment last week. If you don't have time to wait, I don't suggest visiting.
Love how Dr Hajas sees my son's special needs issues from all angels and asks about how the specialists dealt with them after her referrals were sent. She has a good heart and great knowledge. She is always educating herself with things she hasn't delay with before from our experience too. Love her. Waiting is worth it at the end.
Very Bad experience with the Receptionists. They do not understand English Language as well. Very Rude with the Clients. Do not answer or return back calls to the Patients. Needs to replace these Ladies otherwise they will keep messing up the things in the same way.
Useless.
Very bad experience. I called them 7 times in the morning, nobody pick the phone , so I have to drive there to ask .And they cancelled my appointment without tell me .I took a sick day leave for the appointment, but when I got there, they said they left the message last week that was cancelled. Actually,I didn't get any message! The receptions still aways bad attitude ,I think maybe Dr Haja accept toooooo many patients! She is good doctor but she is toooo busy to take care patients. She has no time ! I have been there for 4 years,it got worse than worse! So disappointed!
I had taken my daughter and waiting time was 3+ hours, registered at 11 am and got to see the doctor at 2:15 for 5 min doctors checkup, the reception was on personal call for 2.30 hrs, promising to see the Doctor soon. was upset and was not happy. Dr. Dean is very professional and helpful Doctor, he was not there on that day, but other staffs are unprofessional.
