You have the opinions of people like you who are buying the products and services of G.Khan Medical Medicine Profesionals Inc (Psychiatrist) in the area of Ontario (Canada).
To this day the firm has a score of 3.8 stars out of 5 and the score is based on 25 reviews.
As you can see the average score it has is good, and it is based on a very large number of reviews, so we may think that the assessment is very faithful. If people have bothered to evaluate when they are happy, it works.
As you know, we do not usually stop to put evaluations when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...

He is the best Doctor in Toronto.
Dr Khan and his team have done wonders for me.... thanks for continuing to treat me, daily coping is much easier for me!!
My fiancee is going through a major depressive episode. She's waited a few months to see Dr. Khan. Upon arrival she waited another 2 hours for him to arrive. Upon his arrival he proceeded to eat his lunch while paying little attention to what she had to say. Unfortunately, the mental health system is broken because of (un)professionals such as this individual. For those of you who have given an outstanding review, consider yourself fortunate as his level of service is certainly not consistent. We will be submitting a complaint to The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario if this matter is not properly addressed promptly.
This guy has no respect for his patients whatsoever. I was recommended to go to him by my family doctor to get a diagnoses for ADHD. I had 3 sessions with him until the last session where he tells me he’s not licensed to diagnose me and the entire thing was a waste of time. He was made me wait over an hour for my zoom appointment. Dr. Khan is definitely unfit to help people that are having mental issues and I highly recommend you save yourself the disappointment by going to someone else.
I do agree with Kathy , my husband is a patient of Dr.Khan , finding a pationate soul caring professionally of your loved ones is been live changing for us as well , we drive more than 4 hours to see him , we are lucky to have him , I can't find right words to appreciate Dr. Khans great metodes and his even greater personality , wishing him best is what I can do with all my heart , I can't thank him enough
Dr. Ghulam Khan is very passionate about his profession and helping his patients. He is a kind hearted and tolerant human being with great expertise and experience. He looks from a way deeper prospective to his patients' issues. I wish him and his team all the best.
Dr. Khan is one of the best psychiatrists in Canada.
i am so relieved he was under review and can no longer prescribe medication. he prescribed me a cocktail of medications without knowing what was “wrong” with me and my mental health got worse. i experience severe physical symptoms like muscle spasms, cramps, weakness, brain fog, memory loss, etc. and am now at the point to where i can barely walk because he prescribed an outdated medication used for schizophrenia which i do not have that he prescribed “for insomnia.” i thought i was the only one who had suffered because of his “practice” but it turns out i am one of many still dealing with the aftermath.
I feel mercy when I visit this medical station.... My soul feel peace...????
Feel we are in good hands wonderful team
Horrible, HORRIBLE experience! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Coming to this clinic will make your symptoms WORSE. I had an appointment date booked on April 22, 2016 and was coming all the way from Brampton during RUSH HOUR (which I had originally requested not to be booked during). I also suffer from PTSD due to a car accident (which is why I was referred to this psychiatrist) so driving a car or being in one is VERY difficult for me, let alone driving all the way from BRAMPTON TO MARKHAM (an unfamiliar area to me) IN RUSH HOUR. I knew wasn't going to make it on time, so I called in about 40 minutes prior to my appointment and advised the receptionist I was going to be late. She said that it was okay and to take my time. While on my way, the highway became jammed with traffic, almost like a complete stop for quite a long time, and I was already late at this point. I called in again and advised the receptionist I was going to be very late, about 30-40 minutes more, and if I could reschedule but she assured me that "we are backed up today so it's okay take your time." Relieved, I continued my way to the clinic. I arrived at 5:31pm, the clinic was CLOSED. What a disappointment! No one had even called me back to let me know that they were closing the clinic.. I panicked and had an anxiety attack in the parking lot. I called in today (had anxiety yesterday so stayed in bed all day and off the phone) and requested to be booked into the next available appointment. The receptionist gave me a date mid May. I told her the situation and brought up the incident on Friday, and she started cutting me off and talking over me. Not only that, but she argued as well. She told me they tried calling me back, ON A NUMBER THAT'S NOT EVEN MINE, and apparently got from my doctors office. MY DOCTOR DOES NOT HAVE THIS NUMBER. I requested to speak to Dr.Khan directly and see if he could squeeze me in for an appointment due to a mistake on their part, but the receptionist advised that Dr.Khan is busy, and when I asked if he can give me a call back, the receptionist then responded that Dr.Khan doesn't speak to clients over the phone. I then told the receptionist that the date provided in May was very inconvenient for me, and she then responded "I can book you in for June then." Are you kidding me?? I'm complaining to you that the mid May appointment is inconvenient, and you're giving me an even further date?! She continued to argue and insisted I book a date, and that it was not the clinic's fault because they did try calling me back. When asked why no one called me back on the number I called from TWICE, she said the clinic has no caller ID. I have now just received a voicemail from the "manager" of the office, advising me that "the Doctor will not sit here and wait for you if you're late for your appointment." Okay, I agree, which is why I called in twice, once prior to my appointment and one throughout and was advised to TAKE MY TIME (which I definitely did not!) Ridiculous service! Please save yourself the trouble and AVOID AT ALL COSTS. UPDATE: I called the "Office Manager" back to speak to her about the situation. 30 seconds into the phone call, WITHOUT ME EVEN SAYING ANYTHING ABOUT THE SITUATION YET, she tells me to "I've heard the receptionist's story, I've heard your story, now let's book you an appointment." Holy, how unprofessional!! I then told the manager that she had yet to listen to my story, and she responds "okay keep talking." When I finished, she asks me "okay, are you satisfied now? Have you said everything you want to say?" .. What a shame, you're the "manager" there. Word of advice for the receptionist: 1. NEVER argue with clients coming into your office, ESPECIALLY because you work in a psychiatrists clinic. 2. GET CALLER ID 3. Let clients know what time the clinic closes so they don't waste over 70km in gas and 1 1/2 hours on the road just to get there! Word of advice to the manager: Get your facts straight before saying anything to the client, especially "the Doctor will not wait here for you until you decide to show up."
Gonna miss u buddy. Your a good guy got my family out of alot of thought times.
Dr. Khan not only is a professional psychiatrist but also is very understanding and caring. In an emergency situation answered my call, talked to me, gave me his time through the phone. I also really appreciate the staff who work in his office as a professional team. God bless you all.
I take my mother to Dr. Khan and I find him very caring, understanding and someone who give due time to listen to the patient. His medication has helped my Mom recover from depression.
I have been seeing Dr Khan for 2 years and he has changed my life. His staff are amazing and go out of their way to help me. They are always friendly, understanding, and have sympathy for my situation. Everytime I come in the office they greet me with a smile, and they can tell if I am having a bad day, they will take time to talk to me before I see the Dr. Reading the other review I can tell it is just a patient that did not get her way and is disgruntled and has anger management problems. She is complaining about driving from far away, so why doesn't she find a Dr closer to home? I guess you can not always trust the reviews on here, as they are psychiatry patients! ha ha. She admits that she has PTSD, which if you look up PTSD, one symptom is severe anger outbursts, which is clearly indicated in her review. She obviously has some anger issues which she is taking out on Dr Khan and his poor staff. I feel bad for them that they have had to deal with such a horrible person! They must have great patience! Dont listen to her review, she has obvious psychological problems and really needs help by the sounds of it. Dr Khan has guided me through my grief and has helped me return to work and back to my normal self. He was very patient during my recovery, and spent extra time with me. He filled out all of my paperwork and wrote me supporting letters to help. If it were not for him my life would be in ruins. I put 5 stars because that is the maximum I can put. I would rather put 100+++ stars Keep up the good work Dr Khan! You are an amzing Dr!
He's under investigation by the College of Physicians. If anyone reading this doesn't believe me, just google "Dr. Khan Psychiatrist" and click on the College of Physician's website. The entire investigation parameters and orders are listed. I was seeing Dr. Khan for almost 2.5 years. Nothing worked. My last appointment with him he told me to stop a medication that night...cold turkey. I had severe withdrawal symptoms for 2 days after I stopped. I then googled the side effects of getting off this particular med. Every article I read on google said to "NEVER STOP COLD TURKEY" rather, wean off very slowly for 3-6 months. I then googled "Dr. Ghulam Khan", and went on the College of Physician's website where it is indicated that an investigation opened on him in 2017, for misconduct. He was ordered to see no more than 18 patients a day, and to be under supervision. I never saw a someone supervising him during my appointments, only saw his receptionist and office manager Heather. My appointments would last maybe 15 mins, and there would always be at least 2-3 people he saw before me, and 2-3 people waiting to be seen after me...don't know if he's following the 18 patient limit ordered by the College. After finding out about his investigation, I had to find a new psychiatrist. So my family doctor emailed Dr. Khan for my records, and someone from Dr. Khan's office emailed PART of my records to my family doctor....along with SOMEONE else's records mixed in the middle of mine. I've contacted the College with my experience and they informed me that he's still on a restricted certificate. Since seeing a new psychiatrist, I'm 180 degrees better.
My wife is visiting Dr. Khan for past 5-6 years and found him very passionate and concern about her psychiatric problems. He is very helpful and caring and a good listener. We wish Dr. Khan and his team all the best what you guys doing.
Dr G khan is very good doctor and have been with for many years. He is polite and considerate Doctor.
Amazing guy, caring doctor. Been his patient for 8 years. The receptionist is very kind aswell!
Just to office to send in referal, initial they were on to take on new.client but.once I told.them about my location the office refused, and hang up. Does a patient location matters?
First with the positive :) This man saved my life, I do not even have words to describe what he has done for me, do 5 stars really sum that up? I saw him ONCE. Life changing experience. I also referred a family member who has since seen amazing results. His view on medicine is different, maybe some people do not like it - everyone is entitled to choose what they are comfortable with. However, because you may not agree does not give right to bash someone on the internet. It is just unnecessary, if you do not have anything NICE to say do not say it at all. Constructive Criticism vs Pure Hatred are two different things.... I feel the negative comments here come from those who may be suffering, also reading other reviews on other websites, to those who complain about driving, how they have been seeing him for 2 years and he's "horrible" or every time they go they are waiting for hours....... 1. The drive is not the doctors fault, that is your choice 2. Why continue to see someone you strongly dislike for TWO years? 3. Wait time is due to this doctor taking his time with his patients, unlike many other Doctors I have been to Overall this man is a wonderful doctor, his staff is friendly and his assistant (and my ability to get a hold of her) was always a pleasant experience. Highly Recommend
I was a patient with Dr. Khan for years. He and his team have been awesome nd supportive to me and my family. He was very helpful in explaining situations to me by guiding me and my family through some deep mental health issues. I am very happy to say that Dr. Khan was right and helped overcome a giant wave of triggering emotions. To now that I do feel some calm in my life and normalcy and the wave has past. Thank you Dr. Khan and to Heather.
Drove over an hour to get here and he couldn't even get to his work place before me. He didn't get to the office until 10:55 and my appointment was 9:45. I'm here for a fast appointment and will not be returning after this. Worst experience and very unfair. I would never suggest this doctor to anyone. Clearly he doesn't care about patients at all. Further more to your comment dont worry about my drive. Maybe continue to focus on your drive and how you can work on showing up on time
I was with the Dr. for several years while he help me and my family through years of battling numerous mental disorders. Our first meeting I felt he had my best interest at heart and promised me he that he would stick by me through next few year until retirement . He and his staff had my back for years until I did retire with dignity. Thank you Dr. Khan and all your staff, I could not have done this without your support. Starr and Julie Robertson
