This place is a joke. You also do NOT need a doctor's referral, even though they WILL and DO lie to you, and tell you that you do. My last therapist there literally made me follow along photocopied papers from their group classes session after session, and addimately refused to let me talk to them about anything personal, since I was there for trauma therapy. After 7 sessions with that "therapist", I just walked out. That was my fourth round of trying to make that place work. My fourth time going there, obtaining a counselor, and the fourth time it did nothing but aggrevate my illness. Best of luck, I mean that. You need it.

Been trying to seek active help from, and not recieving any. I have been treated poorly by psychologist. Therapist are unable to help and ask you how to fix your mental health. Call to confirm appointments and then one day later call to cancel. This happens repeatively. I've been tossed from one therapist to the next and asked to start my story from the beginning.

So, this one star is not for the doctors or nurses that work there. They are actually pretty good. The one star is for the constant rudeness by the administrative support staff. The people who answer the phone and sit behind the counter. If it was just one person, or just one incident I would be fine with that because it happens, but I have been going there for years and so has my husband. I absolutely dread calling there because I know whoever answers the phone is going to be rude and snobbish. It's sometimes bad enough that it makes me not want to ever go back. Also, what is with this take a number system that they DON'T USE??? You can take a number and sit there forever. THEY DON'T EVER CALL A SINGLE NUMBER!! They just keep doing what they're doing and ignoring you. I've given up on that and just stand there whenever I go for my appointment to let them know I'm there. They seem rather put out that I do that, but you know what? If you actually called the numbers I'd use them, so I'm going to continue to stand there, sorry about your luck. My appointments are kind of important. It seems like the support staff look down on mentally ill people, which is ironic, because without us they'd be jobless. Learn some effing manners and customer service skills. If I'd behaved that way at the jobs I've held over the years I'd have been fired! Smarten up!!

I have been seeing Dr. Mills (Psychiatry) for a few years now. The staff at reception as well as Dr. Mills have always treated me with kindness and respect. No complaints.

Theodore Balcom

Theodore is not my name, I'm sure the entire staff here is wonderful, but I have had the pleasure of working with Anne Godly and must commend this woman on her kindest, empathy, compassion, encouragement and efforts to go above and beyond to help those in need with the limited resources these workers have within the mental health system, she is not just a counsellor at Belmont, she is an angel and I am blessed for every moment I've had to work with her. She should be commended for the work she does and the way she does it. It may be 'her job' but she treats it far more important than just that, Humans like her are few and far between. God bless you Anne, and thank you from the bottom of my heart. ♥️
