Impersonal e-mail communication with reception. $600 for a diagnosis, and a 6 months or more waitlist. This place takes mental health0 as business. Very very sad.

A number of years ago, I was struggling in almost all aspects of my life. I was introduced to Dr. Brassfield (now retired) he did an initial assessment, and asked if I'd like a male or female, or if it mattered, I opted for a female. I then was introduced to Dr. M. Haring, and she did wonders for me, I seen her via Telehealth at odd hours and she had to go to a different building to do this, which she did and it meant a lot to me. She also was able to have one on one sessions whenever I was In Vancouver on business. I was her client for a couple of years at least, and she helped me achieve quite a bit in my life goals by assisting me in my struggles with depression, PTSD, my mood disorder, I learned grounding techniques that have helped me tremendously over the years. I am thinking of seeking help again, COVID-19 threw me for a loop, bigtime.

Dr esmaili is a good doctor, but does not pay attention that much to what you say, other than that, the front desk is awful, you gotto be careful about your appointments and remind them everytime, otherwise they gonna deny you easily and give you another appointment, this week 2 times long way i drove in the heavy traffic and they didnt even had my appointment on their list, and my number as well, and they ask me to bring the card they gave me, thats rediculous, cause i have my appointments on my calendar, for the second time the day after, i came at 9 am again they say you didnt confirmed with us and we called you, but they never called, and she reads a phone number which was not mine at all. I was so patient not to discuss with them, but i lost 2 days from my work , and thats not fair.

In my case I was not on any drugs but maybe they might have helped to realize my wife was planning a mental health issue attack on me prior to initiating divorce. The damage done by any mental.health diagnosis in Canada can cause irreversible damage to an individual. This further victimizes a victim of a system designed to.completely destroy your life and innocent children's lives as well. Any so called doctor whom claims his personal techniques are better than the norm, is expressing.a general.atitude himself of his knowledge of a broken health care system. The extreme hurt people will review whom.are gullible enough to believe a few pills will solve all their problems will prove more damaging than any so called cure. Less than a century ago a large number of patients were burried alive. Today they are still killed but only.suffer a slower more painful.death infused by prescription drug abuse Take a good look.around at those whom appear to be truly concerned with your mental.health. Any of those people who have the minutest attachment to benefit from such advice in any way must be criticized in their motives. The biggest mistake I made in my life was being convinced by a loved one to seek help for a perceived mental.health issue. This can effect your credibility for a lifetime and likely.you.will not "get better" . Big Pharma and Big Oil.are your worst nightmares in life in Canada. They can and will destroy lives and harm families. They are truly the dishonest mechanic of the health industry. You can get well without pharma. You will get well, you take extreme risk.playin with mind altering chemicals. Pill pushers work here or did work.here at one time. God help.those in real.need.

After decades of considering therapy, I finally made the call for help. Unfortunately, my first call was to this place. Please do not make the same mistake, scroll to the next clinic on your list. I guarantee you that it will serve you better. A curious thing happend here: this clinic simply turned me away and refused to book an appointment. I suspect this was due to the fact that they currently have a long waiting list but to be denied to be placed on the waiting list wasnt something I previously suspected was even possible within this field- the very nature and existence of which is to help people. On their website they outline the issues they "specialize in", some of which matched my self diagnosis. I spoke to the receptionist today explaining that I've never been diagnosed nor have I ever saught help before but suspect that A,B,C may be my issue which they claim to deal with. Admittedly, I could be completely off and simply need to speak to someone as a starting point. She put me on hold, consulted with a "doctor" and stated that I should seek help elsewhere as they may not be the right place which completely contradicts the info on their website. I am so deeply disappointed and completely baffled. I never suspected that a person could be denied help from a place that claims to help with the very same things that youre struggling with....I understand that there is a huge waiting list but the receptionist refused to even put me on it. Very delicately, of course, through a gentle recommendation to another clinic completely out of my way and a genius idea to speak to my family doctor. Until today, I never suspected that family physicians were better equipped to help with stress and anxiety management than AN ACTUAL STRESS AND ANXIETY CLINIC. I am thankful that the call was incompetently handled. I may have otherwise sunk a considerable amount of time and money into a black hole. If the front desk staff serve as any indication, the service here is not only atrocious but grievously irresponsible considering their line of work.
